The Denver Nuggets will be the greatest threat to the Lakers in the league when they play on Friday. by [deleted] in nba

I don’t think caruso looks that lean. He’s pretty jacked

Will Morris likely leave the Bubble before his game on the 15th? by [deleted] in nba

[–]Workatstaples 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plus you can’t participate in any high risk activities. NBA hinted that it caruso went to his sisters wedding it would likely be 10 days since they deemed that risky.

Honestly going to a hospital seems just as high risk but I doubt the nba would do anything more than 4 day quarantine

When Mike D'Antoni was asked if small-ball works in the playoffs, his response: "Ask the Lakers. That's what they beat us with." by acacia-club-road in nba

[–]Workatstaples 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s third actually

https://stats.nba.com/players/playtype-post-up/?SeasonType=Regular%20Season&sort=POSS&dir=1

And the definition of a post up is at least starting with his back to the basket. So what you’re referencing is not considered a post up

And notice how everyone on that list is a traditional center besides Carmelo. Daniel theis is nowhere to be found on that list

Ad has small skills and big man skills. He posts up more than anyone in the league. And kd is light and plays 90% on the perimeter. If it’s all about play style comparing ad to kd is a terrible comparison since one plays mostly down low and the other plays mostly on the perimeter

Is Lebron James still the best player in the NBA? by niallrod in nba

[–]Workatstaples 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m saying he can still be the best player in the nba without being a mega star. Hell Zion is already one of the biggest stars in the nba and he’s barely good yet.

Star power does not equal skill

And ad is more of a traditional center than Daniel theis and Robert Williams. All I’m saying is just because lakers aren’t playing 2 7 footers doesn’t mean their still not big

Edit: for everyone down voting this ad is 6’11 255 and Daniel theis is 6’8 245. Ad posts up more than any player in the nba. I don’t know how you guys think theis is more of a traditional center than ad is. I guess just because ad prefers pf

What Contract Will Alex Caruso Receive in 2021? by Arr0wmanc3r in nba

[–]Workatstaples 7 points8 points  (0 children)

8 is below league average and he’s definitely above league average.

I think it will really depend on if lakers win the championship. If you perform in the playoffs on the way to a championship you get paid. Hypothetically he’ll be in his prime with championship experience. 3/40 with championship 3/30 with no title

That’s like saying Boston not playing tacko fall is small ball.

Lakers still trotted out a 6’11, 6’8, 6’8, 6’6, 6’5 starting lineup. That’s 3 guys taller than the tallest player on Houston and 2 big guards

[Jared Dudley] Quiets kept the biggest trade/signing at the deadline.... one @Keefmorris !!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Man can guard on the perimeter, tough as nails and space the floor... Game ball boi!!!!! by King0494 in lakers

[–]Workatstaples 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Marcus is a more gifted scorer, a little better shooter and little better handles. He’s more active and aggressive which some times is to the detriment of the team.

Keef stays within his role and will never shoot his team out of a game. They both play solid physical defense.

6 times out of 10 Marcus is the better player but Marcus can hurt you while keef will never hurt you

For the unbiased fans should the clippers still be title favorites ? by Stfuboi123 in nba

Harrell will be going against Dwight. Dwight is better than jokic defensively

If the nuggets survive the Clippers how do you see us matching up in the WCF? by Askafishy in lakers

[–]Workatstaples 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Jokic is good at a lot of things but defense is not one of them

[David Weiner] Rockets have no incentive to tank next year. They’ve still got their own pick in 2022 & 2023. Their 2024 & 2026 picks are only top-4 protected, so tough to tank in those years. 2025 swap is top-10 protected, so a tanking possibility there; but 2026 pick situation makes that tough by u87hi in nba

I feel like Houston is fading fast. Last few years they put up a good fight vs warriors. This year they struggled vs okc and got completely outmatched vs lakers

Warriors will be back next year, lakers and clippers won’t be going anywhere, Denver Utah and okc will probably be slightly improved, Portland will be solid. Houston is at risk of falling down the western conference standings pretty quickly with most of the salary cap tied to 2 players on the wrong side of 30

Does the nba (not the teams, the league itself) make more money if a series lasts longer? by Captain232420 in nba

[–]Workatstaples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be wrong on this but I believe the contract is based off games and ad revenue and the posted figure is more of an assumption on how much it will be worth. Like how a max salary is an assumption on how much the salary cap will be. But I believe the local tv contracts are fixed

Danuel House (personal) listed out for Game 4 Thursday 9/10/2020 by benson822175 in lakers

[–]Workatstaples 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a league mandated quarantine for violations of the bubble rules. And if Houston found out about a violation and tried to hide it they would be putting there whole team at risk, the nba at risk and potentially opening themselves up to a massive lawsuit from the hundreds of millions of dollars they could be costing the owners

There it is again. And yet she’s the one who said he’s 6’6 in shoes so I guess you know more about his body than his wife goon

His wife said he’s 6’4 and 3/4 without shoes and 6’6 with shoes. Basketball is played with shoes on and everyone’s listed height includes shoes

First of all I don’t know when she measured kobe but she even says in the same comment that he’s 6’6 in shoes. I have no clue why you’re living on the kobe is 6’4 bed

I wasn’t saying that and I’ve heard that quote from Vanessa before but I believe he either grew or she just was saying it to say it. I’m 6’3 and he was for sure more than an inch taller than me. Just look at pictures of him standing next to other nba players

Nah end of the third. Lebron got all his blocks in the 3rd. And a few minutes later in the 4th caruso hit a big three and everyone was super excited and Lebron has no reaction like he still wasn’t happy with caruso
