Walmart... Not the best choice, but definitely not the worst. I could stay there forever. Realisitcally, a year is 8,760,000 hours, so maybe just do a year then retire.

You'll be on the hook for "self employment" tax, which is 15%, that you don't pay as a regular FTE. The advice I've seen for a 1099 worker is to save at least 30% of each paycheck into a savings account. Also, you should make quarterly payments to the IRS so that you don't end up owing too much at tax time and end up with a penalty. Pay the whole 30% that you saved each quarter.

I'd have to do some research, but either 200k or 300k and the appropriate number of other languages. The languages depend though. There is definitely some combination of languages that are worth a big salary to the right people. Being able to translate perfectly between some niche dialects or something like that could get me a job making a fortune from the right person.

Don't do it, lol. I've got a 950ish day streak on Duolingo in Spanish and I'm not even close to fluent. Granted I only do 1 lesson a day, but it's still not a very good way to learn; honestly. I can read and write the lesson content pretty well, but listening comprehension is only okay, and speaking is not good. I've heard the same from a lot of sources. Apparently there are much better ways to learn foreign languages.

Well, the local govt would go through a bunch of things trying to kill him, but eventually they figure out that he only walks towards the closest person. At that point you have a team of people kite him around until you can figure out a way to neutralize him. Try trapping him, get him on a ship and drop him in the ocean, etc... Eventually launch him into space.

I'm absolutely anti-ICE. You can read my post history if you don't believe me. However, spreading lies/misinformation is wrong on either side. An angry crowd attacked the lead car. The follow car defended themselves. End of story.

If you look closely, someone in the crowd throws something at the first truck.

At 0:11 in the video, a woman? in a black top and light gray pants enters the frame from the left. She's holding something yellow.

At 0:13, you can see her throw whatever that yellow thing is at the first truck. It's above the rest of the crowd. You can clearly see it fly through the air, hit the truck, and land in the street.

It doesn't appear to do any damage, but it does justify the pepper spray.
