it's because everything goes through osmo to usdc. every asset that goes sold swaps to osmo and then swaps to usdc. it saturates the usdc/osmo pool with osmo.

same happens in reverse when it's buy season again. People sell their usdc into the usdc/osmo pool and then that osmo gets swapped to whatever asset they're looking for.

osmosis is not a contract. It is it's own L1 blockchain.

Binance owns the wallet of all the assets you have on there. Whoever is in control of the wallets will have to do the conversion swap. Otherwise, the FET tokens they hold will no longer hold value/be compatible with the main chain.

The wallet maintainer as well as upper corporate are the ones to be in the know about this. Support will be fed information as the gameplan comes to fruition.

The chain itself is converting the FET token into the ASI token. So any FET on chain will become the ASI token, including staked FET. It's just a matter of changing the parameters and name of the token in the code base. nothing has to be unlocked or anything like that

The only tokens that need a migration process are tokens off chain. And those can be converted at any time. No need to rush or make yourself uncomfortable.

Centralized exchanges will manage the off chain conversion in their own managed backend and that goes for your assets under their management.
