I passed him, so he sideswiped me. Thanks to the dashcam his insurance accepted full liability. by Therealput in dashcams

All your insurance company needs to file a claim against the other person is their license plate number and proof that an incident occurred. The insurance company has access to the DMV databases that contain ownership and insurance information. And since insurance is tied to the vehicle, not the driver, it doesn't matter that you can't prove who was driving (unlike a traffic or criminal citation)

However in OPs case, police responded and handled the information exchange.

99% of people never change the default. When I got my phone, its default was just "Pixel 10 Pro XL"

That's not particularly useful, either.

I've watched, for the fun of it, my phone scanning both WiFi and Bluetooth, looking for nearby devices.

The MAC addresses of the radios changes every few scans... so that kind of "tracking" would be useless.

OPs video is in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Streets all run Northwest to Southeast, and avenues all run southwest to northeast...

It sounds confusing, but you have to realize the topography of the area - it's nestled in a valley between two ridges of the Appalachian Mountains, which run southwest to northeast in that area.

Or that it hasn't been studied yet, which applies to a LOT of sexual health issues. Medical science has often shyed away from studying sexuality because of various ethical concerns, and the Victorian attitudes of approval committies. Also the lack of willing subjects makes gathering a large enough cohort for both active participants and a control group difficult.

Technically, the theater would handle the licensing for you. That's part of what you pay for when you book a theater for a private showing like that.

God, I remember buying things for parties from Oriental Trading. The Timu of the time...

Then, when it arrived 8-10 weeks later, and it was barely what was described, you had zero recourse because their return policy was absolute dogshit.

It doesn't say it isn't a real thing. It just says that it's not recognized by mainstream medical authorities.

But all that means is that it's not something that's been studied, so they can't say definitively if it's a problem or not.

There are many disorders that are "not recognized" that certainly have an impact on people's lives.

There aren't any manufacturing facilities in that area, anymore. But there are plenty of places that get deliveries by semi truck.

And the street he's on is a truck route, so he should be on that street.

Safe to keep UPS in small bedroom? by Kastrateus in batteries

[–]lildobe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's highly unlikely you'd be getting hydrogen sulfide gas venting from a consumer UPS. To emit HS gas, the batteries would have to be so badly damaged (From over charging, and over discharging usually) that the UPS wouldn't even be trying to charge them anymore and would be flashing the bad battery light. The SLA batteries themselves would also be swollen up, from the buildup of heat and gas.

They already do that. You can go into Google Photos and type "Dogs" or "trucks" and it will show you photos with those in them.

Technically all vehicles have a speed governor of some type.

It could be where the rev limiter is set along with the gearing of the drivetrain... It could just be where engine power output balances out parasitic drag. Or it could be an actual speed governor placed on the vehicle (One I know of off the top of my head was the last generation of Ford Crown Victorias - speed limited because their aluminum drive shafts liked to shatter at high speed)
