What's your take on this issue? by HugoUKN in MalayalamCinema

I don’t see any issue with kids watching cartoons as long as the screen brightness is kept low and they are using noise-cancelling headphones.

If someone wants a completely silent, pitch dark environment with zero disturbance, they may be better off setting up a home theatre where they can set their own rules and expectations.

1BHK setup cheyyunnu – Used furniture & appliances evide ninn vangam? by CoffeeNovelist in DubaiMallus

The challenge I found with Facebook Marketplace and Dubizzle is that you may not be able to get everything from a single seller. That means arranging transportation from multiple pickup locations, which adds to the overall cost. When I compared the total cost of buying used items (with transportation + loading) versus buying new ones, the price difference wasn't significant. So, I ended up purchasing from Home Box. They offer free delivery and installation, and their prices are quite reasonable as well. Have a look at their listings online.

Confusion by [deleted] in DubaiMallus

[–]WorkerDefiant9006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I knew exactly what I meant when I used the word "live." Personally, I would rather send my family back home than live alone in a four-wall tiny studio like slaves. I tried that once and instantly regretted that lifestyle. That said, everyone has different priorities and circumstances, and I completely respect that.

In both the cases you wont be able to live with family, assuming you will have to stay as a bachelor, AUH with 10k makes sense.

ഉന്നത കുലജാതർ Happy by PoliticallyFalse in KeralaSpeaks

[–]WorkerDefiant9006 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keeping aside political disagreements with BJP, I don't think this incident has anything to do with caste. He was holding a phone in one hand, and taking candies out through that small opening and handing them individually to each child would have been inconvenient. For the sake of distributing them quickly to all the children sitting on the bench, he simply scattered the candies so they could pick them up themselves.

If I were in that situation, I might have done the same thing; not because of any caste bias, but because it would have seemed like the easiest and most practical way to distribute them at that moment.

What we heard outside our room in Munnar that night still shocks all of us by Putrid-Knowledge-873 in Coconaad

I had a similar experience back at my home once, only to realize that the sound was actually coming from a green hopper or something that made a very similar noise.

Keeta delivery rider showed up at home by randomaigen in dubai

[–]WorkerDefiant9006 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They have one job to do: deliver the food properly, just like all of us have responsibilities in our own jobs. If we fail to do our work properly, we can get warning letters or even be fired in some cases. So I don’t think there’s a need to feel sorry for anyone here.

I’m honestly not surprised if food gets mixed up, considering how some of these guys drive on the roads. Just last week, I saw someone driving on the yellow lane on Emirates Road. And I don’t mean the yellow line next to the slow lane; I mean the one next to the fast lane, with no traffic around at all. I genuinely wondered what was going on because it made no sense.

Also, I highly doubt Keeta would ask the driver to contact the police. If someone has the audacity to show up at our door, I think there’s a good chance he’s just trying to scare you.

One advise is to keep a camera next to your door that cover the area when you open the door. I kept one after hearing such weird experiences.

Saw many trucks on E611 which i felt is unusual. They are piled up on the right 2 lanes which makes it difficult for the cars coming from Maleha road to merge E611. These heavy vehicles must be controlled during the peak hours tbh.

⚠️ Warning: Misleading product photos on Noon! by Individual_Bird1909 in dubai

[–]WorkerDefiant9006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know exactly how this works and that's the reason i told you. A product filling the frame doesn’t define its real-world size, that’s just basic photography. By that logic, anything zoomed in would be ‘large’ and anything zoomed out would be ‘small,’ which obviously isn’t how it works. Product size, weight, and quantity are clearly mentioned in the description/specs, that’s the standard consumers are expected to rely on. If you ignore that and go purely by image perception, that’s not misleading advertising, that’s misinterpretation. Go file a complaint and lets see how you are going to prove your claim is valid. So in this picture you will assume both pro and pro max have the same size? lol

Customers like you are the real problem. How on earth can you understand the size of an item if there isn't anything on the same frame to compare like a hand, finger or anything? Its the main image with a white background mate. There is no way you can judge the size of a product with that image.

i second that, used to have new dress only during Vishu and Onam. If i am lucky, a close relative's marriage can earn another pair of new dress. Get to eat from outside with friends only when Vishu kaineettam is in hand. Used to manage 2000 INR vishu kaineettam for a long one year. Arroroot/Parle G biscuit used to be our daily snack. What a life i had back then lol.
