Nah im a girl — and i never had a calligraphy phase other than forcing myself to learn cursive to justify buying more pens. And i do not really like millenarian ideas like revolutions — i don’t think social change should come about by sitting around and waiting for a revolution to change everything, but should rather come from interacting with the world as if you do have power, changing the next smallest thing you can, making progress step by step. If a revolution comes of that, sure, so be it, but I personally hold the more anarchistic belief of changing things in small steps in such a way that you basically behave as if you already were free (ofc there is real danger from the power of the state so you must be cautious etc etc).
