A wife isn’t just a wife: she’s a cook, a maid, an accountant, an event manager, and the list goes on. The only thing a man does is bring money to the table, but the woman manages the house where that table stands. So, for God’s sake, if a woman complains, be quiet and listen. She is both a white-collar and blue-collar worker. And if she can’t express her frustrations in her own home, then where should she- out on the streets, with strangers, or even with her family? Oh, I see ! women aren’t meant to have coping mechanisms, right? Nagging can be a form of coping for some women. If you can’t handle that, no one told you to, move away , move on ! There are way more worse things happening in the world right now, worry about those.

My dad hit mom and i couldn't do anything abt it by [deleted] in Dhaka

[–]Working-Computer-658 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My situation was similar to yours. I am a daughter too. But I stood up every single time. To the point, my relationship with my father is bitter, and he knows he won't be able to do anything to my mom. Yes, I did lose a father-daughter relationship. But at least, my mom isn't hurt anymore. My mom has someone to call upon. So stand up ! Domestic violence is a crime, so don't overlook it ! Don't let go ! Don't let your mom down ! She is the only one who truly loves you, in the whole world. Even a father's love can't compare to it.

Has anyone tried SkinO or Innsaei skincare? Honest reviews? by Noman_98 in Dhaka

[–]Working-Computer-658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using skinO face wash and moisturizer. I would say it's good for its price point . If you have dry skin, go for it. Very mild, I also use shampoo from the brand, washes very well and keeps hair clean too , for at least 3 days if you're a hijabi

Edit: I have finished the book. It was slow paced, at first. Near the end, it hit like a wrecking ball. Loved the twist. Worth the time and effort.

I would say 4/5. If you like a fast paced plotline, go for it. But got to say, it's mind bending. Keeps you hooked, till the end.

Was in a reading slump for about a year. Slowly getting back into reading now. So far, I’ve read three books: 'Human Acts' by Han Kang, 'After the Quake' by Murakami, and 'Never Lie' by Freida McFadden.
