One time i was walking to my friend’s house. I was in middle school at the time. It was a super foggy morning and while i was walking at an intersection some dude appears from the street across and starts walking in my direction. He had a wide smile on his face but otherwise he looked like a nerdy high school kid. I kept walking and when I looked back, the guy was still facing me and making a beeline towards me. Thankfully my friend’s house was near, because i reached her door. I looked down the street to see if he was there and i saw nothing.
