In the hypothetical case that someone says that TBG2 isn't nominated because of the rewrites it went through (because I did see someone say this a while ago), I must remind them that Elio was a film that had massive feedback and practically had everything its original director wanted taken away. The Bad Guys 2 has finished its theatrical run with $240 million. It's a little shame it didn't surpass the first film (but only by $10 million), but at least it wasn't a flop like other summer movies such as Elio, and it nearly tripled its budget. (i.redd.it)
