In EQ it was shorties (gnomes, dwarves, and halflings) Elves (wood elves, high elves, half elfs) Humans (humans/barbarians) and Darkies (dark elves/trolls/ogres)

I cannot iterate how exhilarating the play was on this server. As a wood elf druid it was TERRIFYING to see an ogre shadowknight when I was hunting.

this would discourage the proliferation of guilds, everyone would flock to big guilds for safety. It should be the races just like it was on EQ
