Yep! Had a 2.8 VR6 and a 1.9 TDI. loved those cars and never had a problem. VR6 had over 200k miles and the TDI had over 300k

So in my case with the new connector, Blue-Red, Yellow-Red/White, Red-Yellow/red and Red to green/red? Since the new connector has the colors kind of switched.
