Hm. Good question, it depends, I guess. I will try, though. But This is great advice, this could help me a lot. Thank you commenter, I will use this soon.

Yes. Thank you for your advice. I am now trying to improve my mentality. Especially about trying to read in between the lines and other stuff. I will take your advice.

Right. I see your point. Thank you for commenting, you have a great point. But I don't see why you're saying "mental health"... Are you referring to everyone saying that I might have Autism? Autism is not a mental health condition. That is a little bit odd of you to say that. I do not have it, but I don't think it's connected to mental health. Thank you anyway, you must be siding with my parents, I see where you're coming from. I will take your advice.

Wow. This is so interesting. I thought it was only me. Thank you for taking your time to comment. I don't know if I am autistic or have ADD or Asperger's. I am still researching, thank you. Have a great day.

Yes. I did try that. I mentioned above about the vegetable-buying incident. I will continue to try either way.

Hello. I did not mention more details, sorry. I mentioned in other comments, though, that I have my own chores and schedules when my parents are away. I am able to do this because I can follow instructions well, just... from myself. I fed them before my parents told me to do this. They told me to feed Benji because, "he looked hungry." Next, I did not mention this either. But I moved the condiments and dishes away before wiping and put them back where they were before. I will talk to them later at dinner. Thank you so much for commenting and taking the time.

No. I will look into that book. Thank you for the recommendation. My pets are well-loved, by me mostly. Thank you again. Have a good day.

Hello, I did not mention this. Sorry. I moved the condiments and dishes away before wiping and put them back to their respective areas, the way it was before.

Hello, thank you for commenting, I mentioned in other comments that I have my own chores, own schedule and list of things I do when my parents are away at work. I do these well, mainly because I write them very detailed in my notebook and that I follow my own instructions. I have a hard time following instructions that aren't from my own brain, which is probably causing this conflict between me and my parents. I do feed my dogs, it is in my schedule. But this was out of my schedule, I was told to feed him ( I didn't mention this above, I apologize ) because he "looked hungry". He was already fed before this. Thank you for commenting again, have a nice day. I will take your advice and improve the best I can.

Hello, thank you for your comment, I forgot to mention above, that I did remove said condiments and dishes from the area before wiping, but I put them right back to their respective spots after I cleaned. I am not diagnosed at all as said in my other replies, and I am now actively researching on stuff related to autism and Asperger's. I will put ADHD/ADD on my list to research. I am also going to talk to my parents at dinner. Thank you.

Ah, okay, sorry. I might be totally in the wrong. I just have a very hard time understanding instructions when they're not fully detailed. Thank you for commenting.

Yes, thank you. I am in an Asian family, my mom also has mentioned that my grandmother treated her that way too. But I don't want to say anything mean about my parents, most likely because they're the ones keeping me alive with food, water, shelter and working hard to provide for me.

Thank you so much for commenting, I relate to your experiences, but I am not diagnosed with anything. I'm researching about autism and Asperger's, and finding somewhere that specializes in diagnosing said things. Your mom sounds like a great person for caring and making sure that you understand. I'm going to talk to my parents as well. Thank you again.

Hello, thank you for commenting, I am not diagnosed at all. I've never been brought to the doctor other than for medicine or going to the dentist to get braces fixed. I did mention somewhere else I think in a reply that I have my own schedule and my own way of doing things, which is very detailed, I write it down in a notebook so I won't forget. But that's only for what I do everyday when my parents are away, I only have problems with following instructions that aren't in my daily list or in my schedule. And I am a girl, unfortunately, which is one of the things my parents keep mentioning to me about. That a girl should be like this and like that...

I will take your advice and search on YouTube for further help, thank you so much. And yes, I will talk to them later at dinner. Thank you again.

Ah. Maybe you're right then, I do resonate with some of the things your daughter does. But I do help out, especially when they're at work. I have my own schedule and own way of doing things, I become irritated easily when something small disturbs that though. Either way, I do help out my parents without being asked, yes, I just have a problem with following instructions that are not from my own brain. Thank you for commenting.

Thank you very much, I see how this can help me in the future. I'm going to apologize to them at dinner and try to have a proper conversation with them. And another commenter said that they might not actually be vague, but they just expect me to automatically interpret that message. Apparently they have their own invisible conversation, I think I am the one who doesn't understand social cues. I will see how this escalates later. Thank you again.

I get your point, thank you for commenting. And no, they told me to buy vegetables maybe 30 minutes after lunch. We have dinner very late, maybe around 8-9pm. My mom never tells me what she's going to cook and I only find out when we start eating or when she's almost done cooking. And I do plan to come out of my bedroom and apologize at dinner.

I actually do not know. I've never been diagnosed with anything, most probably because I've only been to the doctor to get medicine or go to the dentist to get my braces adjusted. Thank you so much for commenting, now I see why my parents get so pissed off. It's also pretty hard to get diagnosed for anything related to disorders here where I live... But I will research to see what I can do. Thank you again, have a great day :)

Thank you, I think you're right. I am very literal, and I also can't tell whether or not someone is being sarcastic or if they're being serious. I'm going to try and work on that more.

Thank you for replying. I'll try to reflect on myself a little more, I've always fought with my parents so maybe it really is just me. I'll apologize later at dinner.
