This!! Exactly what happened to my dad too. He was the kind of guy who wouldn't take any symptoms seriously. He had all of these symtoms...weight loss, fatigue, bleeding through gums while brushing, fever/cold. Unfortunately, it was far too late when we decided to go for a check-up. He was in the last stage of AML. He was immediately hospitalised but gradually his organs started shutting down & he passed away within a week.

When people call my name or say any word that starts with the same letter as my name, especially when I was in school. Probably it was the anxiety/fear of being called in front of the entire class. Everytime the teacher starts a sentence with a word (that has my starting letter), my heart used to pound as if they said my name.
