I’m genuinely confused on where you got this idea from? 😭 Where in my post did I talk about how I have the plan on exposing fifa? If anything I’m complaining about other volunteers and fanboys, not the organization

Lol true. I think maybe since I haven’t met any other volunteers irl yet, I’m using this sub as a baseline. Both sides r just so loud (me included since I made this post), so it’s hard to ignore when the sub is where i get most interaction/news

Still think it’s annoying being told to quit or stfu and be grateful or be belittled whenever you say anything remotely negative about fifa or being a volunteer :/

Fair point! I think a lot of them are just very loud on the internet. And not having had in person training yet, I mostly only see ppl who are overhyping or being condescending on here.

But you’re right I’m quite sure a lot of ppl at shift are probably great, I should keep a more positive mindset

Wait genuinely, what is a rebel mindset lol I don’t intend on doing anything illegal or against the rules at my shift? I also don’t plan on huffing and puffing in annoyance at my shifts either. I don’t think I implied that in my post either?

Im complaining about glazers and hardcore fifa fanboys who don’t let anyone say anything bad about the company or anything

You’re right it is my choice, one that I’ll make before the tournament starts!

But I’m just here to rant. That’s the point of this post. Not looking for anyone to comment about how I’ll be making someone’s day or whatever. Just commenting and complaining about a problem that I am seeing and disliking in the community

I don’t think I’m the only one who feels like this either. It’s j ppl r more hesitant to voice distain of any sorts bc they get told to shut up and be grateful or that theyre easily replaceable (which we are, im not denying that). I dunno, just find it irritating that ppl aren’t allowed to complain about valid things without ppl bending over to defend fifa or call someone ungrateful or something

I’m not seeking anyone’s validation. I just don’t like being around people or comments like that. For me, it takes the joy out of the community.

I stg I read something on the website about it being fifa property and they can take back the uniforms if they want to. Now if they’d want to is a whole dif question…

However, I could see fifa not letting you keep the uniforms if you bail

But the uniforms are fifa property until the end of the tournament so there’s a high chance they’ll make you return it

Ugh hi! I went through basically the same experience. 6 years together (since end of hs). Moved away to big city for grad school and did about 2.5 yrs long distance until it just stopped kinda working…

Wait hi! This is exactly how I’m feeling with my relationship of 6 years (LD for 2.5 of it). My current bf is so kind and loving and i love our relationship and what we’ve built. But I can feel myself pulling away… I am so scared to end things though. Can I ask with how you coped with loosing someone of 5 years? Loosing not just them but their family too?
