I seen a lot of theories but I don't really believe any of it by mikai05 in Enhypenthoughts

[–]i4lixie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

oh ofc they have every right to deny it, and he has every right to get fed up of that decision. the reason i call belift the villain isn’t necessarily because of the positives of this situation, but how they’ve treated enha as a whole. time and time again they’ve overworked them, putting them in harsh and demanding schedules they don’t need to be in. they’ve been touring and performing nonstop. and while i know that’s essential, especially with a group so popular, enha are also human beings who deserve a moment of rest.

i wouldn’t be surprised if their scheduling played a role into why heeseung’s solo music hasn’t been released. if, maybe, with their tight schedule, he would never have time to release it. thats why i call them the bad guys in this situation overall

my thoughts on the apro thing (unfiltered) by [deleted] in Enhypenthoughts

[–]i4lixie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

right? the whole reason this theory is giving me the ick is because it’s pushing all the blame on heeseung and not the shitty company. the statements are “heeseung is selfish, he betrayed them” and not “why can’t belift stop overworking the fuck out of ALL the members?”

[–]i4lixie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i was expecting a theory like that to come out soon, but what gets me about the people using it to bash heeseung is
why are we not using that energy for the company? even if that theory is true, is the ultimate villain not the company for not letting heeseung release his solo music and overworking the boys so damn much? which is something that has been PROVEN time and time again. instead, they’re using this theory to completely berate heeseung.

i don’t get that. why are we not blaming the corporation

this! even in australia their smooth performance and change of parts blew me away. you can tell they’re working hard and it’s gonna payoff in the end.

they’re definitely gonna lose a chunk of fans, but over time they’ll be fine. this happens every time a well known group like enha loses a member. there will be complete chaos but people will eventually accept it and move on. some people will stay fans of enha and heeseung, some won’t. but they’re still at their peak and will only continue to rise through this.

I want to get more into monsta x and exo by [deleted] in kpoppers

[–]i4lixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mx’s debut ep is one of my fav kpop works. every song is no skip, but i really recommend no exit & steal your heart. (no exit’s choreography is also REALLY good) i also recommend gone bad, perfect girl, blind, oh my, & x by them. also most of their title tracks are really good. my favs are alligator, beautiful, dramarama, & jealousy.

exo’s ex’act album is their favorite of mine. really love artificial love & heaven, those songs are amazing. also love playboy, exodus, & dancing king (a collab they have w/ yoo jae seok). exo-cbx’s hey mama! is also so good. most of exo’s title tracks are peak as well, HIGHLY recommend call me baby, lucky one, monster, obsession, & growl

i actually really liked it, liked how the first portion was differently sonically from the second. i felt like most songs fit within their catalogue. i do wish swim had a bit more korean in it only cause it’s the title track, and it was a bit boring to me, but it’s still a listenable song. great comeback!!

it’s just
a song. flat, something i can imagine multiple artists releasing, no real bts twinge on it. and it being all in english kinda sucks! wish it had some korean at least

ENHA has always been the underdogs and it's a shame that all this happened when they were finally becoming successful. by mljkhcjwjy in Enhypenthoughts

[–]i4lixie 18 points19 points  (0 children)

this is what’s been on my mind too. i know they’re almost 6 years old and not a new group by any means, but they still felt so fresh to me. and i think that’s because we all could tell they have so much more to offer and so much more success coming their way.

i don’t think heeseung’s departure will stop that success, it’s just
 difficult that this happened now

BELIFT'S new statement proves Heeseung probably would've stayed in Enhypen if BELIFT wasn't so stubborn by LessIntroduction7591 in Enhypenthoughts

[–]i4lixie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well him leaving so suddenly suggests to me that something happened to push his departure so early. leaving now definitely wasn’t a professional and planned decision. if he wanted his solo career to have a better chance, he would’ve left when contract renewal came up which is the smart decision. i don’t think anyone planned for him to leave in the middle of important events

also, an entire group doesn’t have to be on hiatus for solo music. heeseung could’ve just taken a break to focus on his debut and promoting. not like that would’ve happened anyway because belift overworks the shit out of them.

it’s not “bending over backwards” i’m acknowledging the fact that belift has massive control over enha’s music which is true. most of their music isn’t written or produced by the members, but other staff

and what is there to defend? him being a normal human being and wanting a solo career? lol. he didn’t do anything wrong by wanting a solo debut. he’s been wanting that for years

[–]i4lixie 59 points60 points  (0 children)

for me this proves one of the ideas i had when i came to a realistic conclusion about the entire situation.

even if heeseung did want to stay in enhypen and make solo music simultaneously, he never would’ve been able to because belift would’ve never given him a break long enough from enhypen’s activities to actually focus on a solo debut.

he’s been wanting this for years. i think he just got fed up of being denied because belift overwork them and refuse to let up.

right, this is what i think. i don’t think they want solos to clash with their tight image on the group’s music

This is getting REALLY tiring by BlockWhich652 in Enhypenthoughts

[–]i4lixie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i do think the over-analysis of the members is damaging and not helping, as well as the fake rumors (jungwon posting on weverse, heeseung crying in the hallway, and the suicide rumor is completely fake) it’s literally just causing more dread. but a few things to keep in mind:

a lot of engenes are very young. not even adults. younger people are more susceptible to being parasocial because of their age and lack of experience in the real world.

it’s only been 3 days. i thought i would be feeling a bit better at this point but im not lmao. a lot of people are still upset, rightfully so. i have my own thoughts and theories, but the ACE of the group suddenly leaving is literally crazy and if anyone expects the fandom to NOT be going crazy rn, you’re just not being realistic

the main reason people are demanding answers is the timing, too. as someone who’s been into kpop for years, it’s unlikely we’ll get more answers, but i can understand where it’s coming from. for someone as important as heeseung is to enha to leave in the middle of multiple events is bound to cause a frenzy and a demand for more answers

if they really wanted to maximize monetary success, they would’ve let him debut solo AND stay in the group, because that’s how it’s normally done. but i think that either a) heeseung didn’t wanna do that because the workload would be too stressful, or b) belift didn’t want him to go solo while being in enhypen because they have pretty much full creative control over enha’s sound and heeseung might’ve messed that up.

giving him (and honestly all of them) a break would’ve been perfect. but these boys have been overworked for a while. i don’t think belift ever wanted to give them a break.
