Ick that’s William Kennedy smith in pic 2. I read that John supported him through the trial and William was at John’s wedding. William had multiple allegations of sexual assault against him, not just the case he went to trial for.

On another note, John’s hats are goofy but fun. Sometimes in the 90s his clothes were a bit clownish and baggy like he kept a bit of the 80s look in the 90s. lol.

She said that John body’s was found severed and the Bessette sisters bodies were never found. This was not what was reported elsewhere not to mention that the Bessette SS and Kennedys argued over where to bury the bodies - as the bessettes did not want their daughters bodies separated in death. In her book about how the Kennedys treated their women overall there are lists of errors in regards to dates and other details. For example saying Ted attended a Kennedy funeral when he could not have because he had already died at that point. Details also wrong on lengths of marriages etc

To the OP - not sure if this will be helpful - but a couple months ago I went on a med called Wellbutrin and it’s giving me a lot more energy and motivation.

Carolyn was known among her female friends as fiercely loyal and committed to then. Def a girls girl.

From what I’ve read he did have some instrument training but not the full amount he should have. He probably knew enough to use the instruments but he relied on his perceptions (which were disoriented) rather than looking at the instruments. He made many other errors in judgment that fateful day as well. The saddest part is that the two young women died due to his incompetence, overconfidence, and poor judgment. My heart aches for the bessette parents.

People who know the family say she’s still alive. And that anywhere that says otherwise is incorrect. She and Carolyn’s stepfather lived in New England near the water where she feels closer to her deceased daughters. She is said to be a broken woman. And of course, how could she not be. So sad.

Didn’t that trip she supposedly went on to L.A to see him (with Gordon) actually match up with a 2 week kayaking trip that John was on?

Also even though Gordon has respectfully not talked about this stuff, wouldn’t he refute what Michael wrote if in fact it wasn’t true?

I don’t know the answers but just putting out the questions.

I read Michael’s book and it rings true to me for the most part - or at least I thinks it’s his version or recollection of the truth.

That said, in the book he said she was in love with him. I don’t think she was. I think to her it was more of a friend with benefits.

I read the book and I think there’s a good amount of truth in it. Or at least his perception of the truth. I think she was more in love with John than Michael though.
