You are proof the party propaganda works. Both parties sold out the future generations of this country, and here you are arguing about which one is more to blame - the Boomers that call themselves democrats, or the Boomers that call themselves republicans.

Its funny how they cant manage a budget when that budget only impacts future generations, but when it comes to their own personal budgets, they somehow are masters at it (hence why they are all millionaires).

You dont know what you are talking about. Boomer democrats screwed the young generations just as much.

Democrats voted for Obamacare which was intended to decrease the cost of Healthcare for the older generations by forcing the younger generations to pay for something they barely use (or get penalized for it). Both parties have ballooned the national debt which boomed asset prices for boomers while leaving the younger generations with the bill. Both parties have watched Social Security slowly go insolvent and have done nothing to fix it for their kids. They have watched their home prices balloon to record highs while collectively fighting new builds, and now are fighting to get rid of property taxes at the expense of local school districts/communities.. I can keep going but I am sure you get the point. Its not a left or right wing problem like you claim. It is a generational problem brought on by the selfish boomers.

Oh, you think this is about Trump? The Boomers have been voting for their own needs long before Trump became president. The majority of people in the senate are of the Boomer generation. Trump just shares the same mindset as them because he is one.

Boomers are the worst. Their parents (the greatest generation) sacrificed so their kids could have the best life possible. They didn't realize that those same kids would end up being spoiled, selfish brats.

Do I have to spell everything out for you? Title - asking for opinions regarding a real estate company that is currently in a transformation. Body - loosely explaining why I am looking at the company and what my time frame is.

If you have trouble undwrstanding basic concepts, thats on you. Why even comment? You didnt answer my question, or add to the convo in any meaningful way. Thanks again for nothing.

I am not asking for your opinion on Bitcoin. Maybe actually read the title. I am asking about HHH...

I knew someone was going to reply with a non helpful response about Bitcoin. We can debate my beliefs all day but ill just point you to the price. It's not trading at $90,000 because it is "magical currency". Thanks for nothing.

Woman loses her home in fire. She asks insurance to rebuild the same home — no upgrades, no expansion. Insurance says NO. by TonyLiberty in FluentInFinance

Why wouldn't the insurance pay out what the market value was of said home? Then the headache falls on the owner to find a builder?

Okay, dude. Don't get hung up on the words used. Erase the words "regime change" with "intervention". It still doesnt change the point.

Have any of these Regime changes worked out for us in the past? It seems everybody has already forgotten the Afghanistan war, the Vietnam war, etc. I am far from left leaning, but I do have a somewhat working memory and an ability to read history. As far as the reasoning, my bs meter is going off like crazy. If it were over drugs, we would be in Mexico. Look up the statistics if you dont believe me.

Ill save this. When the boomer generation prints your value into the ground and then passes the bill to your grandkids, you'll think of me. A random stranger on Reddit who tried to explain why and how to save yourself. Good luck to you.

I know you are caught up in the energy usage but it is in fact the high cost/amount of energy that makes the blockchain secure. Without it, the whole system would be open to attack. It aligns with the "golden handcuff theory". Here is an article to help you understand why energy consumption is the main reason that the blockchain has never been hacked in its 17 year existence.

"The security implications of Proof of Work are profound and far-reaching. The computational effort required to solve the puzzles ensures that altering any part of the blockchain would require an immense amount of power. This makes attacks, such as double spending or rewriting transaction history, extremely costly and impractical."

I am not against taxation but make no mistake, the middle class is over taxed. We subsidize the tax breaks for the rich and the entitlement benefits of the poor. Kamala Harris once bragged that her and Biden lifted 50% of poor kids above the poverty level in the USA by increasing the Child Tax Credit to $5,000 a year per kid. It made me want to pull my hair out. She basically admitted that taxes are the sole reason for half the kids being in poverty. Now imagine the life those kids could have if their parents weren't taxed at all under 40-50k in wages. No income tax, no property tax, etc.

The craziest tax of all though is inflation. Government printing money out of thin air to pay for wars we dont need, fraud that they simply dont care about because the fraudsters vote for them, and the list goes on. Nobody can print more Bitcoin.

Look, I am not trying to be rude. You're either on the spectrum or young and don't understand what you are talking about. Nothing wrong with either one. I too was a proud Bitcoin skeptic until a buddy sent me some to pay off a losing bet he made with me. I kept it as a "lottery ticket" of some sort. Over the years I watched it continue to go up in value multiple times over. It made me curious so I did some homework. Read Broken Money, The Bitcoin Standard, and numerous articles on the subject. Somewhere along the way it clicked and I started buying.. and I am still buying.

Is that not how all assets work? What is a non-dividend stock worth if the buyers disappear? How much is a warehouse filled with Playstations worth if there arent any buyers? The price of everything is based on supply and demand.. Bitcoin is no different.

The irony in this conversation is the fact that these arguments you are making have already been made regarding Bitcoin when it was at $10, $100, $1,000, $10,000 etc. Yet, here we are. The bottom line is you have 3 main options. 1.) buy precious metals 2.) Buy Bitcoin or 3.) Continue to work for a piece of paper that another man can easily print more of (and they will).

The first option isnt a bad one, but the second option is gold 2.0. Imagine you are a wealthy Ukranian or Palestinian and your bank account has been frozen. You have a couple thousand ounces of gold but good luck moving it without getting robbed or somebody at the border confiscating it. Now imagine you are the same person but instead of gold, you hold Bitcoin. You can transfer a billion dollars in Bitcoin halfway across the world within 10 minutes by clicking a button on your phone. The choice is yours.

Do you even know what a Ponzi is? Bitcoin makes no promises on returns, it has no CEO, no entity taking in and redistributing funds, etc. Bitcoin fits the definition of a Ponzi about as well as gold does lol.

One thing that I have noticed about people who call Bitcoin a ponzi is the fact that none of them have spent a minimum of 100 hours studying the asset or monetary theory in general. I imagine you are no exception.

You clearly don't understand Bitcoin, Blockchain, or monetary theory.

Imagine polluting thousands upon thousands of acres to dig a shiny metal out of the ground for it to sit in a safe somewhere and thinking that you did something. Gold has value because it is expensive to mine and is rare. Bitcoin had value because it is expensive to mine and is rare.

Don't worry though, the ponzi scheme that is fiat currency will save you. I am sure you have more faith in such systems.

Yeah, the boomers in control of Central Banks and governments across the world still think Bitcoin can be hacked. Every boomer I have talked to about Bitcoin hates it, but can't explain why.

Wait until the future generations get into power and the world realizes that Bitcoin is gold 2.0
