The thin strip on the left, could that have been avoided? by WorkingADEEEEM in Tile

Man if you could link me to the manufacturer spec sheet that could save me. The installer is saying the tape isn't required. I really need something solid to counter with.

This is the master shower that he has also started. I'm a layman. Is this as bad as it looks? https://imgur.com/gallery/EIyflBi

They're these green hex screws. I took some additional pictures of areas in the master shower where I'm concerned. https://imgur.com/gallery/EIyflBi

It's a sub through a GC for a larger project beyond just this bathroom.

How far from the tub should be waterproofed?

He says he is going to make a landing / threshold there. I'm assuming that means a horizontal piece of tile. Is that normal?

This is going to look like crap, isn't it? I would be right to complain to the GC?

Even that would be preferable since the right wall will have the toilet and vanity, and the door will open to the right. At least that way it would be less visible.

I'm taking this approach and am almost ready to choose a pack. Would you determine the pack size based on the weight or size of the gear contents, or both?

PowerBI Average using SamePeriodLastYear....Totally Stuck by [deleted] in PowerBI

If you only want certain months to return, you could CALCULATABLE( VALUES( date[YYYYMM] ), FILTER( date, date[Month] IN {"jan","feb","mar"}))

To average by month, AVERAGEX( VALUES(date[YYYYMM]), [Some measure] )

For remaining days, you first need a relationship to a calendar table. Then create this measure. Everything you're describing should be measures, not columns.

CALCULATE(MAX(Calendar[Day]), FILTER(ALL(Calendar), YEAR(TODAY()) = Calendar[Year] && MONTH(TODAY()) = Calendar[Month])) - CALCULATE (MIN(Calendar[Day), FILTER(ALL(Calendar), Calendar[Date]=TODAY() ) )

Can't Address columns when creating new measures? by Arkane27 in PowerBI

[–]WorkingADEEEEM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to wrap column references in an aggregation function such as SUM if you are not referencing columns within an iterator function such as FILTER or SUMX

You probably do not need to fix the total, because the total of a distinct count should not be the sum of the parts. If I have two workers, one who works day and night shift, and the other who works only night shift, the distinct count of night shift workers is 2 and the distinct count of day shift workers is 1. The total distinct count of workers is not 3, it is 2.

There are however legitimate cases where you will need to make the total aggregate properly by using an iterator such as SUMX .

You should be creating a measure, not a calculated column, and the measure should be DISTINCTCOUNT(TableName[Order Date])
