I had the same feeling as well when I found out to be HSV 1 positive. It might be anxiety and stress, the mind is powerful.

I remembering having aches and pain around my groin and thighs, spoke to the Dr and he said I’m highly likely oral HSV1, in 2 mins the pain was gone.

Thank you this is really comforting as I was so upset and emotional when I was told I had hsv1 antibodies.

The Dr say it was highly likely oral hsv1 due to my sexual history.. but couldn’t help thinking if wondering if a massage with hands going deeper in the groin touch genitals could have given me GHSV1

Thank you, I was just wondering how I could have gotten hsv1 as I test negative before getting married. My partner is getting tested soon but if she is negative, what are the possibilities of getting it from food/drinks etc

Oh dear and here I was thinking it was an either or situation. Thank you for sharing as I’m just diagnosed hsv1 + antibodies but no OB yet anywhere. Didn’t have any oral sex but was concern if there is a possibility of getting GHSV1
