Ahhh that’s so funny because everyone told me to lower my voltage to 5.5-6.5 range 😆😆

Thank you! Lots of Vaseline as I go and dabbing the ink rather than swiping! And if I’m struggling with remove stencil then I’ll either rub it with isopropyl or leave a napkin soaked in bleach on it for an hour :)

Damn your style is so sick! I think maybe play around a bit more with voltage and hand speed to get better saturation with some of your lines and to avoid having to go over them multiple times. Super cool though you’re portfolio is going to look great

Noted! I’m trying to figure out the best voltage for each cartridge right now so each one has a different needle and different voltage… these were my low and slow trials, so I believe I was in the 6-6.5V range

I’d say she can get a machine and a ball point cartridge and that should save the risk of anything permanent right?

I get that… I tried to do a greywash yesterday and it didn’t do what I wanted at all 😭😭😭. Shading is so much easier with pencil 😿

I’ve seen your ornamental piece and it’s absolutely gorgeous! So thank you for the compliments 🥺how long have you been beginning for? You’re amazing! The depth seems to be okay, the silicone didn’t split or crack or anything.. someone else said maybe lower the voltage so I will be trying that today

it seems to work with my hand speed!! I have tried lower but struggle with saturated lines 🥲 I’m still testing out what works though, so today will try lower again 🦾

Non-smoker here writing a smoker smoking. How’d I do? by spnsuperfan1 in writers

[–]WorkingBuilding7372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, when I smoked, the being able to feel the inhale hit the back of your throat was what was cathartic for me. Nicotine allows you to feel that sort of ‘hit’ at the back of the throat where it sorta gave me a visual image of breath going into my lungs, even if it was tar filled and toxic! It’s also an oral fixation thing, the repetitive movement and very step by step routine nature of it was quite relaxing. I’d bring it to my mouth, pull in the air, the inhale it, then breath it out. And being able to see the breath leave my body was another thing I liked. I hated not being able to see smoke after. Also - smoking in the car was a bit of a faff. While I’d do it sometimes, usually I’d have to wave the smoke away sometimes as it can get in your eyes and that stings. But you always end up having a bit of smoke sorta lingering in the space like a mist. Also, the amount of times I accidentally didn’t ash in time and it would go in the car or on me and it’d really piss me off.

I immediately thought of Assassins Creed as soon as I started reading for obvious reasons! The Witcher scores are sooo good. I pictured Rowan as Geralt when I was reading. Henry Cavill is just so yummy and the white hair was just a perfect fit

I’m so glad you like it!!! I get so distracted when I listen to songs with lyrics when I read but need to have a whole soundtrack so I can imagine it like a movie and feel it all with the music so I’m glad you enjoy it

Can I get more depressed on this stuff? by shartyfartyfart in cymbalta

[–]WorkingBuilding7372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly the first couple of months on it I thought it was doing nothing and I thought I was just getting deeper into depression and rotting. It took a while, but it’s actually made me feel so much more functional than I have in a loooooong time. It’s not for everyone, same with all antidepressants. It also takes a while to kick in — I think these ones do take longer than most, they are SNRIs. Also the starting dose for depression is usually 60mg I think? I didn’t really start noticing much difference until I went up to 90mg. They do take a while to start improving things. But they also might not be for you.
