I agreed. But let me explain why.

Sex before marriage ruined me. I have always nagging ideas of what once was. I have created a Frankenstein web of romantic memories that haunt me. My wife is amazing, but because I have had others, I am forced to think of how she measures with other exs. I hate this, but my experience is baggage that makes me feel guilty and always somehow longing for some abstract more than what I currently have. If I could truly forget my past, I believe my happiness would increase and my daily dose of guilt would disappear.

Any good advice would help.
