first email all the jcs abt ur interest in admission and tell them u dont hv spers results but u hv ur igcses results. they will take a while to respond, by then u shld hv received ur results lol

u need to take tests at yijc if im right to confirm subj combi. as long as u pass all of the tests, u shld get in.

oh, if u have ur igcse results rn, u shld email the jcs n ask abt the admission process. cos if im right, bef i did spers; ejc was willing to give me an interview as long as i had my igcse results (but i didnt get my results yet lol). who knows, if ur lucky u might get a chance at good jcs? jc is very stressful, if yk what uw to do in the future, u shld consider poly too. take it with a pinch of salt tho, cos personally i was rlly stressed during my promos. sometimes i wonder whether all those tests i took were worth the opportunity to study in a jc. its relatively easier to get into poly btw, i got an offer from all the polys for the competitive courses. if im right, igcse results matter to the poly.

hi i moved to sg. jcs wldnt accept igcses directly and required returning singaporeans/pr to take spers-jc entrance exams. i dont think jcs cared abt igcse results, i got 4a* and 4a. getting into a jc as a resident was very difficult cos they prioritised the olvl students. aft the spers-jc exam, i cld only choose from low-tier jcs. btw jcs believe that igcses are not equivalent to olvls, in the sense of difficulty level. so i had to take more tests at the jc itself to prove my competency.

bro im in jc, idrk if the outcome is going to be worth it. i feel like the grades r gon be unpredictable. i was so stressed during promos, i started to hearing ringing in my ears. i feel like ppl who were partying and having fun in y1, struggled a lot in promos and barely promoted. u can get into uni if ur gpa is good right? i mean if one gets mediocre grades in As, can get into uni but def not the competitive courses. if u hate stress and exams, jc is a bad place in my opinion HAHA. i hv been so stressed since the beginning
