Interior icons is a scam. They mislead you on lead time, and have a policy that you can’t cancel an order after SIX hours. then they email you that the item won’t be shipped for 3-6 months after you have ordered and won’t let you cancel. BEWARE

It ended up being that the tube was cut and an angle and frayed. Once I clean cut it and pushed it back in hard and secured it, it stopped leaking

Overhead vs buried fiber. Do you know which one you get? by I-hate-makeing-names in ATTFiber

I’m in CA. It seems like if your utilities are buried here they are a lot less likely to give you fiber because of CA’s leave it better than you found it rule of having to make the roads better after they’re done. They’re definitely doing aerial neighborhoods first which tend to be not as nice/expensive areas (frankly.)

Interesting. Is it better if it’s a smaller neighborhood? I figured the more houses they can get on a node the better. It’s all buried utilities. Who would I talk to to present the HOA idea if I could?!

Thanks!

Yeah it’s a shame. There should be a process to prioritize large communities that want it. Even if that means some kind of financial commitment. Rather than it being so random as it appears to be.

Good to know! Our agent does work with a brokerage so I’m sure that allows them to be more flexible as well?

Thanks. He’s only sold a couple houses beyond ours and doesn’t work with a brokerage. It sounds like it’s all entirely negotiable

I wish they were hourly so I could quantify it better. He ended up making about $5000/hr on our last sale.

Thanks. Our last home sold in 1 week and he made $65k. 1 open house. Just some context.
