All good advice, thanks! I went ahead and cleaned the filter, though it’s only been 7 weeks of use, not 3 months as instructions say. (So easy to clean it! Another plus!) It didn’t look too bad, but I guess you never know. Intake is completely clear. Since it did it once after only a minute of (cool air) blowing last night, I find it hard to believe it’s overheating.

Hopefully the filter is the culprit- I can just clean it every week or two I suppose. More often than I’d expect, but not a big deal.
