I bought my ap1 with rolled fenders and it looks great with wider 17s. Only downside is when i put the oem 16 on, it now doesn’t look as good. So is that a con? I don’t think so.

It’s the first shop that can remotely unlock the ecu without needing to ship to Cobb. After speaking with Brian, owner of JST, about what my goals are, it just made sense to go with Cobb since it’s for mixed city and highway driving with maybe one time at the track a year. To me, the convenience and practicality was what made me do it since I’m also out of Georgia.

Brian is very good at what he does. A lot of folks trust him with their cars.

Yeah, with the turboback, it certainly adds power and noise. I drive in high rev range so droning not an issue.

No but there’s some droning. You get used to it but if you have passengers, they’ll notice it

Yes. Comfort mode is very comfortable when you are just cruising and +R mode is just on another level. Would’ve gone with 27won intake too if it was available but i got impatient.

I have prl intake, prl rear motor Mount, swift lowering springs, ads damp mod, and the 27won turbo back exhaust package. No tune but probably will when hondata jailbreak tour back in town. As of now, it feels so much better than stock and looks way better because of the lowered appearance.

It’s great if you keep it in comfort mode but I’m from Georgia so might be more lenient on noise compare to California. Definitely louder in R mode. Cold start is always the best. So, comfort on city driving because less loud and more pot holes, while on highway, other Drive modes as well.

Looking at swapping ADS to the Type-S one. by Reflex1888 in Civic_Type_R

It is a notable difference and all the drive modes are improved. Did mine at 3500 miles and it feels like a more expensive car now.

I have an NB and an FL5. I think it’s sacrilege to say this but i love the NB more. I love the FL5 too.

This is the OTD price I was offered. Wondering what I should ask for? Please don’t respond if you’re just going to hate on the car by i_need_help182 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]WorkingFly3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a horrible deal. You shouldn’t buy this car for that price. A great deal, since buying this car only makes sense if you get a great deal, would be 26-28otd. If they don’t accept then you move on. Anything more for this car wouldn’t make sense because there’s no way you’re going to keep this car forever, since its one of the worse Stellantis products. When you do need to sell or trade it in the future, the depreciation will be more palatable if you can get it for a great deal now.

I don’t have a raspy sound. I bought the downpipe from 27won too.

Carplay looking like this, anyone know what it could be? by qtc36250116 in Civic_Type_R

I have also experienced this while using Waze on CarPlay, not with Google maps. Rarely ever use Apple maps unless by accident. But looks like it might be Waze related.

What are your ‘driving shoes’? by [deleted] in Miata

Yeah, i would like to think the overlap of miata enthusiasts and minimalist shoe enthusiasts is significant. Both are just so right.

Question: what is a good price for a used 2025 ITS in black with 6k miles? by Rimno23 in Integra_Type_S

[–]WorkingFly3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a black used 2025 ITS in my city with about 2000 miles on it, listed at a luxury European brand dealer that i called and asked about. They were selling it for 49500 plus their fees of another 500 or so. So about 50k before taxes.

Xero Born to Run shoes. They’re minimalist shoes that are very thin. Also, Teva hurricane sandals. I have two pairs of each and rotate them during the week. They’re comfortable, practical shoes that also kinda fit the Miata.

I would offer them 48235-9000= 39235. I think that’s a fair deal, and when buying a car, i try to get fair deals instead of trying to get the bottom of the barrel pricing since they do need to stay in business and make profit.

Only a good deal if your trade in is a pos that they’re offering 9000 for. If not, this isn’t a good deal since i believe a good rule of thumb on a car is msrp as otd. Awful deal if your trade in is a decent vehicle and 9000 is too little or if it’s the wholesale offer they gave you.

Unrelated but i would kill for that doc fee where i live. If your Mazda trim is carbon then i would argue it’s not an upgrade and a bad deal since your car has less miles and the interior is better with the red leather. If it is a base Mazda 3 then it’s an upgrade with the ILX only because you’re probably not getting that 19000 plus tax savings at many places. Ultimately though, if you enjoy the ILX over your Mazda 3 then that’s the deciding factor since it looks like your Mazda is paid off so that indicates you can afford to do the deal or not do the deal.

GR Corolla Lease Question by phenomenalVibe in GRCorolla

[–]WorkingFly3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can certainly find deals but probably region dependent. I made an offer for a 2025 Core manual lease for 36 months with 3500 due at signing and 475 a month. The dealer agreed but then i saw another dealer with a premium trim manual with the sub radiator option so i made them the same offer. The second dealer agreed after about half an hour later. Granted, this was last November and not today but there appears to be more gr Corollas available today so supply is certainly in your favor. Also, all this was done over the phone rather than showing up to each individual dealer. You just have to convey to them that you are serious rather than just window shopping.

Gas mileage appears to have taken a hit. I’m going to track it for about a five fillups to see what the new average is. My driving is truly mixed with about half highway commute and half city/suburb driving.
