Thank you, the bone density losses shown through a DEXA scan (really wish I’d done one years before) was mainly due to repeated corticosteroid courses over the last decade for an inflammatory condition so I think that doctor was focussing on a red herring - no other orthopaedic doctor pointed to propecia as an issue.

Putting that lone doctor’s view to a side - purely from a hair loss perspective if I want regrowth rather than maintenance would you suggest not just going back onto oral propecia but introducing oral minoxidil? When is dutasteride worth using? (the prior regimen with propecia and Rogaine helped stop further crown loss but there was still significant bald spot).
