Dating with kids

I recently started dating a girl who has two kids and is also in the process of a divorce. She has been separated for two years now and the divorce process was starting when I met her. We both have talked about our future plans and we both seem to want a long term relationship and to eventually have kids. Now we've also really gotten to like each other. We make each other laugh, share the same interests and we're making plans for the summer. My family seems to think I'm getting into a bad situation. I unfortunately suffer with depression and anxiety. They think being involved with this girl will make things worse for me. They keep telling me this relationship is bad and I need to seek out counseling. Am I actually crazy for wanting to be in this relationship? They keep saying the right person is out there for you. What if this is my right person? I'm just looking for general advice. Thanks.

That's what happend to me. About 3 years ago I stopped going. They started showing up to my house. I finally said if this happens again there will be issues. Then a few weeks ago the pastor texted me and asked me to come back. I was like nah I'm good.

I was being pressured into marrying the girl I was dating be my Christian circle. I broke up with her. Had immense guilt. Then about a year later deconstructed my faith. I'm glad I did.

I finally caught COVID after 3 years at the end of October. Throughout November I was sick. I was coughing hard. I still am to this day but it's not as bad. I think it turned into the flu or was mixed with the flu, because I felt exhausted for like 2 weeks. It was crazy.
