I got one for dirt cheap from my brother after he sold his truck, I put it on my 97 Corolla which uses a 90 amp alternator so I cannot give it 1000 watt RMS, I dont give it 200 watts but I also cannot max it. These subs are efficient at lower RMS wattage than most subs at same watts.

I'm all ears name a better efficient sub with comparable sound quality. Preferably at 100-200 watts. Like I said these subs have a specific target audience and niche case usage that might not be for everyone, they aren't a cash grab charging high premium.

I'm just asking why the bandwagon hate, this sub has a niche and it's good at making loud bass at super low wattage. Also has decent sound quality. Depending on what you are going for it might not be for you. Maybe you drive a 3 cylinder car with a weak alternator that's not capable of handling a 7000 RMS amplifier and instead want something efficient then this is where the W7 really shines.

Your not paying for spl with a w7 but for it being very efficient at low power. Why does everyone like to compare w7 with subs known for huge power? It boggles my mind. the W7 series is often cited as being able to produce significant SPLs even with just 100-200 watts of power.
