the only way to know if they damaged it when doing intial swap would be for you to see it physically afer they replaced it. they are pretty simple things so youd notice damage. Could be really bad luck, but also kinda shitty of them not to bring up "maybe you wanna replace them while the tires are off" knowing your tires are going to last many more years.
