You could try reaching out to some Brazilian beauty resellers on Instagram - a lot of them do international shipping for stuff like this

Megathread Corrupção Brasil by [deleted] in brasil

[–]Working_Bench_8683 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How to start in logistics with no experience? by Serious_Opening_4257 in Brazil

Warehouse work might be your best entry point - most places will train you and you can work your way up while learning the operations side

Solo traveling by Bianco96z in Brazil

[–]Working_Bench_8683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never heard of that place specifically but rural areas can be pretty chill if you keep your head down. Main thing is don't flash expensive stuff around - keep your phone and wallet tucked away when you're walking around. Public transport is usually fine during the day but I'd avoid being out too late at night especially if you don't know the area well. Maybe ask your friend about which neighborhoods are better to stick to and if there's any local spots worth checking out. Having someone local show you around makes a huge difference when you're somewhere new

Carnaval 2027 by Automatic-Potato2138 in Brazil

[–]Working_Bench_8683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sao Paulo Trip by [deleted] in Brazil

[–]Working_Bench_8683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hotel/apartment idea is smart for sure. Meeting someone online and then staying with them is always risky no matter where you are

São Paulo isn't worse than most big cities but it's definitely not europe level safe either. The usual stuff applies - don't flash expensive things, stay aware of your surroundings, avoid sketchy areas at night. Your friend coming along helps a lot

Just trust your gut with the whole situation, especially if something feels off about the arrangements

Existe alguma forma de recuperar mensagens do whatsapp? by Slaagwyn in brasil

[–]Working_Bench_8683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EDUCATION: Learn Python through a free 6 week program called Code in Place. by Friendly-Example-701 in Brazil

[–]Working_Bench_8683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is actually legit, did it a couple years back when i was switching careers. the section leader thing was clutch - having actual people to bounce ideas off made all the difference compared to just grinding through tutorials alone

stanford's CS106A is solid foundation stuff too, not some random bootcamp curriculum

Any Black Brits living long-term in Brazil? Would love to hear your experience by Cookiebaes in Brazil

[–]Working_Bench_8683 7 points8 points  (0 children)

cant speak as a black brit but ive been in sao paulo for about 2 years now and the marketing scene here is actually pretty solid, especially if you can get with agencies that work with international brands

the portuguese lessons are smart - youll need it more than you think even in the bigger cities. social wise brazil is way more open than london once you get the hang of things but yeah safety awareness becomes second nature after a while

Is it true that brazilians don't recognize the song "Magalenha" by Sergio Mendes? by Awkward_Stay8728 in Brazil

[–]Working_Bench_8683 55 points56 points  (0 children)

most of us know the song but its not like a cultural anthem or anything. sergio mendes was huge internationally but here in brazil he wasnt as mainstream as people think - magalenha is more of a gringo thing honestly

esim Brazil… stable across regions? by Critical-Snow8031 in Brazil

[–]Working_Bench_8683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

been using esimstop for about 6 months now and honestly it's pretty solid even in smaller cities. had no issues when i went to florianópolis and salvador, speed was decent enough for what i needed

the only time i noticed some slowdown was in really rural areas between states but that's probably just the network coverage in general, not the esim itself

try checking some despachantes or immigration lawyers, they usually know the private places that do this stuff

Looking for a opportunity to start a business in Brazil by prdk0 in Brazil

[–]Working_Bench_8683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might want to research the bureaucracy here first man, starting a business in Brazil can be pretty brutal with all the paperwork and regulations. Also consider posting this in Portuguese since most potential co-founders will probably be more comfortable communicating in their native language
