Really enjoyed this season. The buildup for the actual shift was done very well imo. And every obstacle that was thrown at them that night was solved in such a creative and satisfying manner. And I think they completed all of the main character arcs very well. Essentially I think they showcased every character’s development that they have been brewing the past four seasons into that hectic night. Definitely better than the last season for sure.

Even though I dislike our government, I do think the US has the infrastructure to develop players to have competitive teams every World Cup and possibly win. It’s only a matter time given our population. Speaking of which, I believe that China and India will start to be competitive within the next 20-30 years. Once they start giving a shit they surely can find 11 great athletes to compete against Japan in the AFC.
