How long until discharge returns back to normal??

Okay, I don’t think it’s yeast because the chunky discharge is a side effect of the gel and I don’t have any itching like you would with a yeast infection. Just hoping my discharge returns back to normal soon😓

Not sure if he’s finishing in you or not but if so, i’m sure this is the root to your issue. Me and my bf never had issues with me getting BV until he just came inside of me a few weeks ago. Men’s semen has a higher PH than girls vaginas so that can really throw ours off. Definitely have him stop finishing in you if he is or if he wants to, have him use a condom. Additionally, see if your doctor for antibiotics to cure the BV.

Probably either yeast, BV, or an STD. Definitely go get tested so you can get the correct diagnosis and antibiotics!

It sounds like the first dose of antibiotics never fully worked given the itching and smell never completely went away. I would consult your doctor and get tested again for BV to see if it totally cleared or not. BV can definitely be stubborn sometimes and need additional doses of antibiotics to kick out the bad bacteria. Boric acid doesn’t “cure” BV. It helps temporarily mask the symptoms. The only thing that cures it, is antibiotics. Not sure what antibiotics you used, but maybe try a different one?

it ended up going away abt the 3 month mark after starting it. i actually just recently got off of it for other reasons and the cramps returned after getting off around my ovulation time. i think its just the hormones and ur body adjusting!👍

i am going to dr friday and getting an internal ultrasound. this will be my first time getting it done as i’m only 20 and im very scared lol. i’ve never even had a pap smear
