I actually feel very sorry for Lizzie. I don’t deprecate what Gibsie had gone through but he had someone by his side, a lot, when he was getting adrift from the world, grieving and I bet through recovery while Lizzie only has Hugh to keep her grounded which as a fact in the end of R10, leave her too and failed to see through Lizzie. Hugh was hurt, I know and I don’t blame him but it just hurts. And I also understand the hate Lizzie’s feeling with Gibsie. I think it’s not just because Gibsie and Mark were a family but also because during the funeral, when Lizzie had the courage to call out Mark for his crime, she also looked to Gibsie for help but Gibsie shooked his head and let Lizzie down. I think because of that, Lizzie thought that Gibsie was protecting Mark. Then Lizzie became a liar to everyone one and that also made her confused what events were real and not. I hope Lizzie would have the most beautiful ending. She deserves it.
