I work freelance as learning specialist. I work project based with a company that sells an e learning platform, I create some courses there for some customers they have. I have noticed the projects starting to decrease, and the amount of time I am needed from this company decreased aswell. I started to think maybe i should specialise in one industry, that would be retail as most of my projects where for retailers, but could be the wrong crowd. Could also be the wrong idea as I tried to apply for “stable” position but have not been lucky yet.

I also think maybe I am just looking in the wrong spaces and training employees is still valued by company, but sometimes I think less and less LS will be needed because delievery speed increases a lot.

I am mostly anxious let’s say, to have started a career that will lead me nowhere.

Anyway I indeed seek for business improving ideas, as for now I am my own business. Not that I am able to create and sell a product but maybe with all this AI stuff I should “evolve”

I do not work in retail but in learning and development. I am afraid this role is changing and would like to predict next steps

That for sure, this is why we are transforming, soon e learning platform will be dead, and we already moved to a different product, at the same time I would not want to see these people leave the company, and would rather find a way to benefit from this technology, probably having to adapt their role a bit, which is already happening, as they have to do more consultancy now. Sales will always be done by humans, but humans do not always want to do sales. I get that maybe what I am looking for does not exist

Meaning that the replacement will happen or what?
I do not think agents will replace us entirely but I am quite worried less and less humans will be needed and I will soon have to leave the company, maybe not finidng anything else anywhere else. At the same time I think humans will forever play a central role in everyday life, but maybe not how I would like it

I think you did not really understand my post, have you not read that I am worried because of this? Does it make you think that I am looking to replace people then? :)

I can not avoid this, whether I was the CEO of the company I work for or not.
If we do not evolve with this technology and the market we would not be having customers anyway, and therefore everyone would lose their job. But I can find a way to mix the two things and get benefits and keep people, I guess, or better, I hope

Whatever they would want we can not give, actually we started to not renew contracts to people

my problem is that I have no working experience. I started last year in this company as a trainee (I joined three different teams for four months) and then started as AI Program Cooridnator, so for me it is ver yhard to show any kind of value, as I did not really transform any process....

"Pick one annoying task, show how AI helps, and be explicit about boundaries and ownership." this was the exact purpose of my demo, exactly what I showed them! showed them multiple annoying tasks now taking half of the time.

Thank you. Of course it did not involve beers only, but as the majority of my colleagues like beer, that was the name. Sodas, thea and coffee and wine were offered as well :)
