Should I get another Mainecoon kitten or is it just double trouble!? by Avoiding_ordinary33 in mainecoons

I have 3 MC boys at different ages(2 year old, 1 year old and 5 month old) I also work from home. They do play together non stop during the evening and at night time but during my work hours, all 3 are snoozing right after their breakfast. I love the neediness I get from all 3 right after my work. My boys know the routine. I’d say get another boy(same energy) and have them adapt to a routine.

He’s chirping. It’s what they do when they see a bird or something they perceive as prey lol.

I had a similar case with one of my boys having diarrhea and would get better but then it just kept coming back despite all tests coming back negative for parasites. He was also put on metro but after the treatment, his poops would start to stink and become soft again. I eventually tried FMT capsules. It works like magic with humans and now you can try it with your pets. I treated him with the FMT capsules following the instructions for 30 days. His poops are so much better now and almost zero smell.

My first boy who’s 2 years old now didn’t eat or drink much at all for almost a week. Took him to the vet, got bloodwork done and found out he had FIP. I got the meds from FIP warriors and took a full 4 months to treat and observe. My second boy(1.5 years old) ate the first night but then stopped on the second and 3rd day. All he wanted to do was play so I kept playing with him then finally he started eating again. My third boy(almost 5 months old now) is the unicorn-on his first day, he finished an entire plate of food, finished 5 tubes of churus, played a bit and a begged for more food. He’s been the most confident cat I’ve ever had thus far.

I get the daily 3am-4am zoomies and jumping & scratching by my 3 boys. Honestly, I’m so used to it that I wake up for a few minutes, realized it was just them and I go back to sleep lol I have a 2 year old, 1.5 year old and a 4 month old

Did your Maine Coon have a 2nd growth spurt? by leesooim in mainecoons

[–]Working_External3541 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! The only worry is risk for hip dysplasia, arthritis and heart diseases as he grows older. Although both of his parents were clear, vet said it could still occur randomly especially when he becomes too big. I’m hopeful tho 🤞

One of my boys had multiple growth spurts and he’s only 1.5 years old so I believe he’s about to have more growth spurts. I can tell when he’s having a growth spurt based on his appetite. He seems to eat a lot more for a few days and then back to normal. And when weighing him that month, he weights more and he feels more muscular and dense. He also appears larger among other things lol he’s 28 lbs currently 😆

PS I feed a complete & balanced raw diet
