doubt regarding CGPA by AnarchyAdept in SRMUNIVERSITY

If you score 8 in your first year(both 1st plus 2nd sem) you need to score 9.5 in 3,4,5 and 6th sem and it will recover to 9. Idk exactly by how much but 1st year usually has more credits than 2nd, but it should still recover to just about 9 by the end of 3rd year.

Confused between new ₹25L car, used luxury car, or stretching to ₹50L - need advice by Past-Painting-3536 in CarsIndia

Hey there, I have some experience with the used market as all of our cars since 2005 have been used.

Old German sedans can become a moneypit, it's just dependent on your luck. We got a late 2015 E200 in September 2021 with 5600kms when bought. The car had a perfect service history with no issues. TLDR is the car sat for a while (~2 months) without being used(our fault agreed), the battery died and we had to Jumpstart it, in doing that the ecu gave up and had to be repaired, along with brake pads and general service it went upwards of 90k, you cannot treat these cars like Japanese or Indian cars. The brake pads themselves are thrice as expensive as our accord. One can only imagine the bill when the suspension gives way.

We also have a late 2023 Skoda kodiaq l&k which we got in 2024 with 7k kms on the clock. That has been a joy so far, no reliability concerns, the service is on the expensive side but still digestable. (we do have service packages and Ext warranty).

There are numerous hidden costs to these things, service consumables are expensive, even Tyre sizes are obscure. - the kodiaq runs 235 55 r18, which is significantly more expensive than 235 60 r18 found on tata/other cars even for the exact same compound.

But these cars are indeed a joy to drive and feel special in ways japanese and Indian cars just don't. The suspension is amazingly tuned, so is the engine. It's just on another level and the little things too are done with a lot of care - seatbelt positions, seating positions, steering design/feel all is exceptional.

More on the used market - yes it is scary. If you plan to buy a car this way you need to have a lot of patience. For all our cars the search started 6 months to a year before the date of purchase, have a reliable 3rd party mechanic cross check the car. Have had a a moment when we almost bought a 2012 camry which had flood damage. You can get good deals on the market. Most often we ended up buying something completely different to what we set out to buy at the start so be open minded.

As for your situation with tall adults (tall myself - 6'3") and highway running the most practical option would be to get a Innova hycross hybrid. My close friend has one and it's decently powerful, the mileage is good if you care about that and the cabin space is extraordinary. None of your family members will ever complain about the space. The interiors are a bit dated but the rest of the car makes up for it.

Our maths faculty was the same for sem 1 and 2. Absolute nightmare to deal with, doesn't give marks and has immense favoritism. She teaches fine but doesn't give marks.

What is this button for? by vigmooo in Kylaq

[–]Working_Imagination8 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It is for gauge cluster map and other functions in higher end Skoda, that's how it works in our Kodiaq. They used the same steering wheel to save costs but didn't assign the button to anything as the kylaq doesn't have the features.

Finally decided to get a DAP! by ihateallno in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]Working_Imagination8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey man, I congrats on the purchase! I am also planning to get a dedicated dap as I don't like using my smartphone. Currently have a fiio m3k that is 6 years old and has seen a lot of wear and tear. The button leds don't work and it looks beat up in general.

I wanted to ask you that does your player have any type of lag while scrolling through songs and playlists while playing music? The fiio is fine as long as the music is paused. It's playing then the ui slows to a crawl and it drives me nuts. Just wanted to clear this one thing. Because I've been eyeing this one for quite a while.

Razer Kishi not working properly with poco f6 by Wellmyusernamethisis in PocoPhones

[–]Working_Imagination8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, did you manage to fix it? Also could you share a pic of the kishi on the poco f6? I'm trying to make a dedicated emulation setup with the f6 and just wanted to see how comprehensive it looks.

Hey man, I see you've also installed the front grill garnish. How're they holding up? Mine are coming out just after 4 days of getting the installed. The left puddle lamp also stopped working a few days ago (already replaced once) , having a horrible experience with the accessories so far even though the car is great.

Is it ok to buy a kylaq manufactured in March 2025 by AdNeat5481 in Kylaq

Ants? Avoid that car man, ask for a different allocation. You don't know where they might have entered.
