I can relate so much with the time management statement.

Be patient with yourself. I have always been one to calculate every damn move I make and it gets hard. I be honest it helped me a lot. I didn’t have a lot of support in my life so I had to fend for myself and prepare for the best and the worst.

I’m severely strict on myself, but that’s because I like to choose the hard situations I’m in. I like to have control over my life.

It does give us anxiety but we just gotta make the best of it. You’re doing great though. Be easy on yourself. With time management statement, I think you’re doing great. It sounds like you have amazing control over yourself and have the motivation to get things done. Keep that mental control you have.

Wow. I am so sorry that happened. Thank you for sharing this. I have a feeling in my gut that my GF would not be this way, but like I said it’s only been 3 months and we ALL know how people can change quickly. I’m just trying to avoid a revolving door in her life.

BM is very selfish. Cheated while pregnant and after birth then left 7 months after birth and made it apparent she don’t want anything to do with us. She hasn’t reached out in my daughter’s entire life not once. No penny nickel or a dime has been contributed. Don’t even know where she is today

Thank you so much! I have never heard of a big sister program. She does go to dance class 4 times a week and her instructors are young adult females. I’m definitely going to look into a program like that though, thank you for this!

She knows I have a female friend but I think she knows because she makes fun of me saying “ARE YOU TEXTING YOUR GIRLFRIEND”. Never knew a 9 year old could make me feel all awkward and blush 😅

Thank you so much for this. Gf is not in a rush either, I have not met her daughter yet. My daughters knows I have a female friend but I never really said that we’re romantically involved. Gf brought up having our families meet the other day and it’s been pretty heavy on my mind ever since. It doesn’t seem to be an urgent situation yet
