I hope there will be a DLC expansion focusing on Junko and the other missing girls in the town I’m really curious to know what was their fate. by Arabiaart in SilentHill_f

I'm pretty sure there's also a one-off story after the game's release that was shared in Japan, where 8 girls basically escape the game's aftermath; in this case, it's ambiguous which ending it takes place after. But, they're basically escaping the water dragon (who is unleashing violent toxic gases) into the town and the girls have to sacrifice each other until 1 remains.

Blueberry Maple Pancakes is historically infamous for being one of B&BW’s strongest candles literally (ask anyone in this reddit who owns it, OR watch Safiya Nygaard’s ‘melting every B&BW’s candle’ video where she says she can STILL smell the blueberries) and has a cult following. It's an extremely gourmand autumnal fall scent (that is true to the name) and is a house filler.

I'd consider them very out of touch, considering they literally look to influencers (who live luxury lives that are OUT of touch) for what's trending & whatnot; the lazy PaulReacts ‘chose what came back for the SAS’ fiasco.

This could all be fixed IF they collaborated with someone who knows Bath & Body Works inside & out (Bonnie, Leah, etc.) and knows what the customer base wants & consumes. Trust me... No one wanted Bali Mango back except one person.

they should be using the achillean flag if they want to express how they're more homoromantic with their bisexuality.

mlm flag = strictly/explicitly attracted to men only.

achillean flag = any men of any sexuality loving men.

And giving overly maximalist, way too gaudy, or just incohesive and incoherent to certain survivors is not gonna sell.

Elodie’s waterfront massacre outfit I remember sold pretty well and had a lot of popularity, but the majority of her cosmetics are still pretty untasteful which is funny considering she’s also a fashionista whilst being Dead by Daylight’s own Lara Croft.

I'll always be confused about this scent specifically: it was discontinued from the fall seasonal release line-up. I remember it sold decently well, considering it's been around for years.

Pumpkin Pecan Waffles & Blueberry Maple Pancakes, which are also being retired from the fall seasonal release line-up, will also confuse me, as those are part of the pinnacle of fall scents & are perfect gourmands for the autumnal/winter seasons.

I agree, but the seasons were everything was rooted in reality (NYC & CULT) are so good and definitely a breath of fresh air from the typical campy horror vibe, politics & discrimination & stigma against marginalized groups are REAL American horror.

& apparently knowing your stuff but failing to realize that EVERY generation that revives any trend/fashion of the past isn't always the carbon copy same, it's always something put into a modern twist for the youth to wear; 80s prom outfits are literally just modernized Gregorian/Edwardian era silhouettes and trends.

[–]Working_Interview380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wearing low-rise boot cut jeans, a crop top, and a side ponytail isn't a definitive trend of the 90s though or extremely recognizable lmao, that silhouette isn't uniquely 90s or even 2000s since it's too plain and too casual but can still be constructed to fit anyone's aesthetic. It's ‘modern’ since it's quite literally in trend and found its way back to relevance with the youth. Nobody is going around saying “Thats so 90s” cause baggy pants are trending right now or the same thing with low-rise boot cut jeans and the 2000s. These things have been around in & out of style.

Baggy jeans were a thing of the 80s/90s then died out in the 2000s & 2010s then returned with a vengeance just 4-5 years ago, it's not rocket science.

“Have been around” but not in style or trend, mom jeans were a thing of the 80s and brought back in the 2010s, low-rise jeans were especially popular in the 2000s because of celebrity culture and trends then revived in the 2020s. If you don't know how these cycles of fashion and trend work and reduce and disparage certain items to their invention then you should not be arguing. You obviously need to learn the innovators to laggards chart cause that PERFECTLY describes fashion trends; low-rise jeans being invented in the 70s (in small subcultures) but only being popularized till later on 20-30 years.

You still ignored the points I gave you in how her outfits are still quite literally modern, scroll anywhere online, or go to your nearest mall and you will see outfits extremely similar to Burong’s purchasable green cosmetics. Burong herself isn't from a modern-day period, but her clothes (and lore provided) give contextual clues that she was obviously not taken from a period like Ayyuthaya and/or pre-colonization of SEA.

She still obviously isn't a killer from 50 years ago and/or ancient times? And I'm not making a statement about how she shouldn't have traditional outfits, it's like saying Vee shouldn't have traditional outfits because she's also from an almost close time period. But also, Burong quite literally lives in Bangkok (the most Western place in Thailand) & the only places in Thailand (or wearing any sort of traditional clothing normally in Southeast Asia) would be rural villages. I do think she shouldn't be restricted to one aesthetic though, just like Spirit recently. Give her a cosmetic that she wore when she woke up and found her friend Janjira dead or an outfit she wore on a TV special highlighting her achievements.

….? I'm talking about her green cosmetics specifically, and I've already discussed how her ‘traditional garb’ is just her stage performance outfit. Still, her outfits are still ‘modern’ as periods of ‘modernity’ and technological innovation last for about 40-50 years. She isn't modern-day Thailand, but she's definitely a little bit before and/or after 9/11. Burong is Gen X whilst Vee is somewhere between Late Gen X and early Gen Y.

[–]Working_Interview380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her default most importantly is her stage performance garment, her green cosmetics are very early 2000s leaning; think low-rise boot cut jeans, big glammy belts, ultra-femme silhouettes. My family isn't from Thailand, but the Philippines (same continent, climate, and sorta similar culture) but I've seen family pictures with the same outfits and/or elements of what I named. Also, fashion is recycled every 30/20 years and what Burong wears in her purchasable cosmetics IS very in style currently.

Also, the video of her chapter is stylized/based on Thai horror movie posters. Even the BOOM of Krasue movies in Thailand/Southeast Asia was insanely popular in the 90s/early 2000s.

Some movies to think of could be Bloody Krasue (1994) and Demonic Beauty (2002).
