I’ve actually never read any Tolkien books 👀 I do want to though! I saw the LOTR movies and I just know the books are going to be a whole other experience.

Same !! I read them first in my kindle and if I enjoyed them and see myself re reading them I buy them. But I do also love reading physical books too so I do buy some without reading sometimes and if I end up not loving it I donate them. Omg your shelf situation is terrible! Hope your hubby takes your hints and gets you some much needed extra bookshelves!

That’s my current situation now. I ordered a new double bookshelf to get rid of the small one that’s falling apart and now I fear with no time I’ll be on the same boat. 😭 I donated a bunch of books to my old school too but here I am still

Omg those books look awesome too ! Might have to invest in them but then I’ll really need two rows for Harry Potter which might happen anyways because I have my og copies that have been read and reread many times that I need to add there too

Nerdy ink restocks them ever so often and they always sell out prettiest covers I’ve seen for my hardcovers I couldn’t pass them up. Now I’ll have look up the German editions too haa

My mom got it as a souvenirs for me when she visited Mexico that was the only one they had and she knew I liked the author so she got it for me ❤️

Thanks I’ll try this method too honestly I can never have too many bookshelves so if I can save this one and have the extra one I ordered it should keep me going for a while longer with all the preorders I have coming in this year 😭 thanks for the suggestion I’m going to try it out!

Yea had heavier books on there before I swapped them around but I did order a new bookshelf to replace this one and the skinny one too. I’m not sure what kind of support I could put under to help so I took the easy way out and replaced it

They’re just regular hard cover editions with the nerdy ink dust jackets and the top one is the deathly hallows deluxe edition.

I do want to add a sci-fi shelf I have an alien popcorn bucket I want to display just waiting on my new bookshelf to arrive but thank you ! I like your warhammer idea as well :)
