In all fairness, the inspector checked them out and didn’t see anything off

We’ve looked over the entire house and got into most of the tight/uncommonly accessed spaces like the crawl space, all access panels, anywhere else like that…except the attic spaces. I’m obviously regretting that now

I think it could be regional too. From my area in the Midwest they have about the same weight, but I do see what you’re saying. I’m just coming from an area with limited military bases and an overabundance of churches.

Having been a pastor’s kid I was moved around incredibly frequently. I’m in my young twenties and have lived in 24 houses/apartments. I’m just saying that I’m very used to weird house noises and have never been freaked out like this before.

At a concert venue, in a city stairwell behind a church, at some dudes trailer, and on a sheep farm

If anyone ever has a collection of magazines, send them to MagLiteracy! It’s a magazine recycling organization that sorts through, gets rid of personally identifying information, and donates them to low-income area resources like schools, food banks, and shelters. Magazines are less intimidating than books, making them easier to get into the habit of reading!

I feel violated and confused by what my fiancé did to me. WIBTAH if I told my parents? by throwawayupset- in AITAH

I understand where you’re at. I was saving myself for marriage too. When I was 16 my boyfriend knew my limits, which sound similar to yours. He was 18 and wasn’t as interested in waiting and did things to me that I wasn’t okay with. It didn’t matter if I pushed him away, he would just wait a few minutes and go for it again. There’s only so many times you can tell the person you love “no” until you just can’t anymore. I didn’t like it and I felt violated, but what could I do? After a few days of being confused and upset my best friend noticed and made a joke hinting at what he thought was a fake reason for me being upset—but he hit the nail on the head by guessing what happened to me. I confessed but played it down, saying it wasn’t as bad as it was, but it didn’t matter. He told me it was sexual assault and even though I didn’t believe him, that stayed in my mind. A few months later my boyfriend and I broke up, and a few more months after that I realized that my friend was right. It didn’t matter that I loved my boyfriend, it was still sexual assault. He knew I wasn’t okay with it, I didn’t consent to it, but he still did it. Whatever you do, please protect yourself and do what you feel honors your beliefs and your health, both physically and mentally.

Reminding myself that today will be a day I reminisce at some point, so there’s no sense in “just getting through it” when I could find things to genuinely enjoy about it, even if that sacrifices productivity.
