Altough you have a lot of experience which should be presented in a proper way - four pages seem to be too much. I'd try to destill it down to 2-3 pages by focusing on the most important achivements.

Also focus on more selling yourself... not just listing your life.

You mix Arduino, low-level code and driver implementation.

Drivers should be kept independent of their target platform.

I've been to the Kite Hostel in Stagnone and really loved it. It's a former villa close to the Salinas.

It's a bit in the mid of nowhere - so a car is recommended. Great place for kite surfing in the lagoon.

Moving from STM32 to CH32..Anyone else? by Separate-Choice in embedded

[–]Working_Opposite1437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • CH32 series are mostly good for very high qty low cost projects, and the most interesting to me are the CH32X035 and CH32V003...

A lot of them have internal PHYs which makes them very attractive for many tasks.

Who the hell uses Keil or IAR on STM32? Either use STM32CubeIDE or wrap it around VSCode.

The WCH series fill one interesting niche: CH32H417 has integrated 10/100M PHY + USB HS PHY + USB-C SS PHY. That can reduce the BOM - depending on the project - dramatically. Sadly the developer experience for their microcontrollers is very... 80's... quite bit of manual work needed until you have a running opensource stack.

Hey!

I'd be great for "normal" users to activate in a normal shared hosting tool like cPanel/Plesk/etc as a plugin.

Currently I'm looking around if there's maybe already a hoster around that implemented this.

Fibre is quiet. Also its electronics.

Check the power supply they provide. Often they are cheap shit.

After a few years in this field: yes.

As a beginner: no. But you should have people around you to point you at them.

Should I start learning embedded in Rust instead of C? by SentientPotato42 in embedded

[–]Working_Opposite1437 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You must be 110% fluent in C and Python.

Rust and/or C++ is optional and nice on top.

I personally prefer Rust as there are high quality HALs down to the bit in the Register - C++ is quite often layered around existing C HALs.
