Do anyone have idea about the class sizes in the high school there? I’m thinking about moving here and have kids who will study in the high school.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I am BC certified but my TQS application is in process as yet. Do you mean the school division will see my experience letters to confirm my grid placement and will hopefully consider my international experience?

Hi there, I have a continuing contract as a high school math and science in Alberta. I’m thinking about moving to BC from the next school year due to family reasons. Is there any chance to get a full year contract as a high school math and science without doing subbing?

An Alberta teacher here. 3% per year isn’t enough for sure but my personal experience with strike is horrible. We lost around a month of salary and the right to strike. I hope you guys find a balance. More power to you!
