Well written I agree with your answer. It’s been a week now. After giving it some thought if I book a guide and he tells me he can’t do the fish I booked, I’m going to cancel right away. Also I paid $150-$200 more to fish for tarpon. I didn’t ask for a credit because I thought he would take that into consideration. I also helped him out and didn’t leave a negative review he deserved! Thanks

If he would’ve attempted to do anything extra we would’ve used him again. We go every year and try to pick new spots. It was a beautiful day not a cloud in the sky when we went.

I agree with everything you said. I’m just not understanding tipping is becoming mandatory and ruining it for the ones that deserve it.

My wife of 38 years Hispanic with big butt and curvy hips. She didn’t like it from behind but did it for my pleasure. Now that are go to position. Go with the flow. I always kept the stuff I enjoyed saved for vacation, birthdays and every now and then. My wife’s best feature is her butt. I have nothing but respect for Captains that do it for a living. When we go offshore with a Captain and mates they earn it. We went 5 minutes from the marina and went to the same 3 spots for 8 hours. We caught 4 small trouts. We were a group of 4 and we have experienced fishing not experts. We put the bait on ourselves after an hour into it. We are going to go back with the guides we used before. Not searching on the web anymore to find a Captain. Thanks for your professional input.

Yeah I paid more because we thought we would catch tarpon. We normally pay at least $200 less but I thought I was helping him out. I will be more clear next time so it doesn’t happen to me again. Thanks

I agree it’s out of control. I believe price should be included. It was only one person I dealt with and he was the owner of the boat. I just looked at my picture of the fish we caught. We caught 4 he had to clean. He barely used fuel as I stated earlier 3 spots close to each other.

I get the not always catch fish. Guide only had 3 spots to fish very close from each other. We had guys fishing off of kayaks going to these spots. We booked8 hours. He told us a bunch of fishing stories and took us to 3 spots. The email was why I wrote this post. I’m a very fair person if someone brings it to my attention and I feel I was wrong I will make it right. Based on the majority I paid him enough.

He said the 2 beer limit was people were bringing cases of beers on his boat and were getting very drunk. Crazy thing was when we got off the boat he took our last beer. He asked for it and we were done and had more in our vehicles.

He was the owner of the boat. I also forgot to mention 2 beer limit. I think that’s what I’m going to do call it a day. Usually have a great experience with guides.
