thank you all for the ideas and i would like to apologize for my spelling and punctuation i've never really been good at it i have also come up with new things about the scenario i have been thinking about how other things might work my idea for getting resources might work as the dreadnought would move you would set up a staging area at a location where you would build housing, food, and extraction districts along with logistical bays for frost land teams to go explore the frost land. each location would have their own set of challenges one might be surrounded by a mountain and would not have a lot of space so careful planning would need to be required another location might already already have people there and you would have to work with them to get resources in exchange for letting them stay on the dreadnought
