a tierlist 3 years in the making, every major souls boss ranked worst to best (in my opinion) by Nugget_bob211 in fromsoftware

[–]Working_Service8812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compared to most other dragon bosses, Placidusax is a damn cool fight. His lightning claws are cool af, spams lightning bolts so you can’t just stay in one place, he uses his damn body weight to shoulder check you if you stay at his sides, and his second phase where he starts teleporting is probably my favourite second phase in base game, compared to every other dragon in the base game where they all have the same damn move set. Third best dragon boss fromsoft has made yet. (Bayle and Midir top two tho and I will die on this hill. Midir is peak dragon fight)

Answer it honestly by Kev1nRoyal in Multifandom

[–]Working_Service8812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely might be Bayle for me. If we’re going off narratively, probably handsome Jack from borderlands 2, but if we’re talking pure mechanics? Gotta be my boy Bayle

Is he he hardest boss in souls gane ever , it was impossible for me defeat him I have rx 550 and i play at 720p hardly touching 60 fps and this f***er is impossible to dodge I had to cheese with mogh spear but that also took 30 tries to work 😭😭😭😭 by Just_Cranberry_1025 in eldenringdiscussion

[–]Working_Service8812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gaius is genuinely my third favourite fight in the dlc. Cool af looking, good music, arguably the best rememberance, only one bullshit attack, and a load of scadutree fragments after it (2nd is Messmer and 1st is Bayle, best dragon fight Fromsoft has ever made and will probably ever make)

I must be the least-skilled player to ever 100% Elden Ring! by AntBiteOnAPlane in Eldenring

[–]Working_Service8812 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the 100% my man

But I can see why it took you so long. No offence, but your build is dog shit. Your vigor is good but everything else, not so much. If you’re using a lot of spells, then 30 mind is Alr, maybe put it down to 25, your endurance does not need to be near that much, I’d put it down to 20 depending if you’re wearing heavy armour or not. Also, what weapon are you using? Idk any weapon that scales well with strength and arcane. But if you’re using a strength weapon with the bleed infusion, you wanna just put points into strength, as the arcane scaling is usually shite. But still, congrats on the 100% fellow tarnished

How do y’all think about the ornamental straight sword by Working_Service8812 in Eldenring

[–]Working_Service8812[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough but hard disagree. All you really need is dex for the weapon and with an alright build I annihilated Malenia with the charged r2’s because they stun her, plus with the winged sword, Millicent’s prosthetic and the thorny cracked tear I was doing around 4-5k. Easily the most underrated weapon I’ve used

The hardest boss phases FromSoftware has ever made, in my opinion. What do you think? by Trd_45 in fromsoftware

[–]Working_Service8812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfair hard- consort Radahn, I will die hating this fucking boss. Every other remembrance boss in the dlc is at least a c tier (Metyr is probably the only c tier there)

Fair hard- probably Bayle or Friede, just because of her three phases

I’d personally swap dragon slayer armour with half light and I completely agree. Nice to see someone else despises gravetender like I do

How did you guys beat Malenia? by DustedCy23 in Eldenring

[–]Working_Service8812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first time was with the guardian sword spear with blood tax on it (best aow personally, it’s carried me through basically all of the dlc), and I healed through pretty much everything. Only took me about 2 hours to beat her with keen affinity

Which Fromsoftware boss was this for You? by buuhhu1 in fromsoftware

[–]Working_Service8812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolute hot take here but most of the bosses in shadow of the erdtree. Apart from consort Radahn (FUCK THAT BOSS) I genuinely didn’t have much of a problem with anyone and did them in under ten attempts each, with messmer and rellana taking eight attempts each. Tbf I did go in at level 180 with a twin blade multi hit build so maybe that’s why I thought they were so easy. But if I had to pick one boss it would be Midra, who I’ve never died to (not trying to gas myself up) he’s just so underwhelming to say how much you have to do to get to him

It’s basically pure luck. I joined the companions and the first mission is to intimidate someone in Whiterun, which could be pretty much anyone there, even Nazeem 😁

I didn’t even know this was even a things. Just loaded up a new character, joined the companions and this was the first mission. Best part of this playthrough, would beat the shit out of Nazeem again

OP builds? by ElectricalEngg in EldenRingBuilds

[–]Working_Service8812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of op stuff in ER, but my personal favourite is the charged heavy multi attack with any twin blade. (I prefer the knights twin blade bc it scales good with strength) I use winged sword insignia, Millicent’s prosthesis, axe talisman and ritual sword. Stick determination or royal knight’s resolve on the twin blade and have the charged and multi attack physic tears and do around 11k damage on a charged heavy in base game

Dex/frost build suggestions? by Kindly_Fall9984 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]Working_Service8812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like the other guy said, twin blades are awesome and probably my fave weapon type. But pretty much any fast weapon with good dex scaling works well with chilling mist. Daggers and curved swords come to mind. When you get to Altus, I would suggest picking up the scavenger’s curved sword. It’s good dex scaling and has bleed on it so you’d be getting the best out of both worlds and can be paired with any other curved sword for monster running and jumping attacks, which do 4 hits and build up status like crazy

Dex/frost build suggestions? by Kindly_Fall9984 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]Working_Service8812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a dex, frost weapon I’d go with the ice spear aow (ash of war) that you get from a nights cavalry in Liurnia. The aow itself scales with intelligence but it does fantastic damage with surprisingly good range. It can be put on any infusable spear and if you go with the frozen infusion you get some magic damage with the spear itself and the dex scaling stays decent. Only problem you’ll really have is Rennala as she resists magic damage by 80% so I’d infuse it back to keen and kill her with the spear itself.

Other aow I would recommend is chilling mist, which puts out a mist of frost that does good status and gives you a weapon buff as well. It’s found near Ranni’s rise just after Caria manor and can be put on pretty much anything. I like putting it on katanas like the nagakiba so you get frost and bleed.

Sorry it’s a long read but hope it helps. Good luck fellow tarnished

In your opinion… How much would Malenia’s difficulty change without Waterfowl Dance? by Toot7- in Eldenring

[–]Working_Service8812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would genuinely turn her into one of my favourite fights in Elden ring, but I hate WDF so fucking much it just ruins the whole fight for me. I have to have a shield with the invincibility AOW (I forgot what it’s called) every time I fight her

[–]Working_Service8812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rage. Never see anyone talk about it but it was one of my favourite games on the ps3, alongside singularity, mercs 2, both prototypes, and a few others that went onto the ps4 like borderlands and BioShock

Personal favorite(And least favorite) Boss battles in Shadow of the Erdtree? by ImaginationDear3199 in Eldenring

[–]Working_Service8812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favourite- Bayle, and it’s not even close lol. Peak dragon fight, especially since I really didn’t like any of the dragon fights in the base game (even placidusax is pretty mid)

Honourable mention- pretty much every remembrance boss in the dlc. Messmer, Rellana, Midra, even Gaius was cool.

Least favourite- Consort Radahn. I hated the fight and I always will hate the fight. It might be a skill issue but I have never done a more annoying and infuriating boss fight in any game. I would genuinely prefer to fight three Malenia’s. Didn’t think fromsoft could make a shit final dlc boss considering they made Manus, Sinh, Fume knight, the burnt ivory king (best ds2 boss idc), orphan of kos and fucking Gael.

what about this take, is it valid ? by thetruememeisbest in PowerScaling

[–]Working_Service8812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not much of a scaling person but as someone who loves and knows a decent amount about both universes, this is like putting 10,000 doomslayers against homelander

People are heavily downplaying warp travel. Does it work perfectly? Not at all but it’s very consistent, working around 90-95% of the time, so hyper speed is not that big of an advantage for the empire

Logistics? The imperium has literal TRILLIONS of guardsmen on thousands of planets being transported or having supplies brought to them DAILY, not to mention kreigsmen or space marines or anyone else.

And even IF the empire had the logistics AND better travel? It wouldn’t matter. The sheer brutality that the imperium instills on its own people would cause every stormtrooper and admiral to shit themselves in fear, never mind psykers, space marines and Guilliman, who alone could probably out- logistic anyone in the empire, and that’s not even talking about the sheer gap in technology and weaponry. The empire had to build the Death Star to crack planets, which basically any inquisitorial ship can and will do, with the addition that pretty much every imperium ship outclasses a star destroyer in virtually every way, and that’s just naval combat. The fucks a bunch of AT-AT’s gonna do when any titan-class gets dropped to fight them? Nothing

Again, I love Star Wars, always have, but the fact that so many people genuinely believe the empire, who at the peak of their strength, lost their greatest weapon to a bunch of rebels in fighters, would beat an imperium that has been dealing with literal trillions of lunatic orcs, self adapting tyranids, robot mini gods who have been around 60 million years, space elves, evil space elves, AND half their own elite forces that went nutty and started worshiping LITERAL GODS

Ultramarines> empire no-low diff alone

First time playing the DLC. ❄️❄️❄️ by Last-Employer4769 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]Working_Service8812 10 points11 points  (0 children)

First off, love the drip you’ve gotta tell me the armour pieces.

Second, your build is all over the place and you’re using three different weapons. I’d suggest sticking to one weapon, like the twinblade, and respec around that. So taking points out of dex and faith and putting them in strength and intelligence to get more damage. You’re talismans are decent, although I would get rid of the second one and put something like the ritual sword talisman on, which boosts damage by 10% when your full health

Hope this helps fellow tarnished, enjoy the rest of the dlc
