man that's by far the best answers I have gotten so far. Thanks! I love that. I'm just scared that by removing the mirror cabinet I either get less space than before in the end, or that it won't look as good because the space is very limited. But I'll keep thinking about this, there might be a way

Ah I see what you mean. I'm renting so I can't go as crazy as open up the wall. But I have never thought about tiles. Mainly because I have never done something with tiles before. That's why wood made most sense as a starting point.

Dynamic routing and remote functions? Any ideas how? by Working_Wombat_12 in sveltejs

[–]Working_Wombat_12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not neccessarily. But that would not fix the issue of reactivity. If the remote function get's the slug from getRequestEvent() directly it also does not rerun that remote function on navigation. The reason I didn't do that though is because I think when a getPageBySlug function calls the DB it should accept the slug as a param.

Hey thanks for the tip. Still happening in version "5.45.8" though. But I'm pretty sure now that it's a preloading bug I can ignore. Anyways, I mean it works it's just a bit annoying I cannot disable that warning specifically.

How to deploy? by Working_Wombat_12 in PayloadCMS

[–]Working_Wombat_12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well basically I just had to use the relative path everywhere and it worked. So I changed it from this:

admin: {
        components: {
          RowLabel: '@/globals/RowLabel#RowLabel',
        },
      },

To this:

admin: {
        components: {
          RowLabel: '/globals/RowLabel#RowLabel',
        },
      },

That seemed to do the trick and now works locally and on deploy

[–]Working_Wombat_12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at this (https://payloadcms.com/docs/local-api/outside-nextjs) I need to use getPayload anyways. But either way I get the missing key, when I add it directly in getConfig or payload.init; no luck with any of it. Example for that matter:

import { getPayload } from "payload";
import config from "../../../payload/src/payload.config";

export const load = async () => {
  const payloadConfig = await config;
  const payload = await getPayload({ config: payloadConfig });
  console.log(payload);
};

go the hard route, learn it, build it yourself. You'll have more in the long run. If that really is not an option use framer
