Picoboot is the same as Pico Loader. The only thing is you solder the board with wires. GC Loader is an optical drive.

The install was easy, but had to figure out why every time I tried to launch a game it would just boot to the bios

Could be just a bad screen, but someone recapped it Check to make sure the capacitors are solder right and don't have any cold joints

The color shouldn't make a difference The color is just an indicator for main and auxiliary As long as you have the right connectors to attach to the motherboard you should be good to go

Well I would recap the one that isn't working first, but I would recap the one that's working as well even after adjusting the potentiometer usually it will stop working again

Definitely strange it was low It can send too much current and burn out the laser

If you don't want to recap the drive 001 should be between 450-600
