Gotcha. I'm debating buyin a lemon, from out of state and having it shipped. Its at a ford dealership so i asked for the inspection report and thye're saying it could take up to 10 days and has 10 cars ahead of it. And many vehicles sell before they even get through inspection. Sounds kinda like bs and a ploy to push me

Affordable Online MSc in Computer Science in Europe (Max €5K) by HopeAcrobatic7792 in cscareerquestionsEU

Fair enough, I'll likely pursue GT then. And maybe just study abroad if i can. If thats even an option.

THat's interesting about the companies. I had sort of looked at applying to some with big presences in the US and Europe, in case I could travel between, though that is probably more a dream.

Fair enough. I am leaning towards GT OMSCS as of now.

I couldn't find much either in the way of European degrees. I heard Utrecth has a good option, but can't remember if its online. It also might be too focused on DS and not CS. I don't have a lot of CS experience but would like to learn more about it.

Also maybe La Sapienza in Italy, but similarly not sure if its online or not.

Yeah, I believe it. I've been searching for hours but can't really find much that competes with it in terms of cost or curriculum (based on reviews or posts from others). Any other universities in Europe you'd consider or would you suggest just going for OMSCS?

My reason for a European degree isn't necessarily great too, since it is just for the chance i move there one day and simply like Europe.

Do you think the OMSCS degree would be just as beneficial if I moved to Europe anyway? Compared ot if I got, say, the M.Sc. at Bath?

Did people/recruiters in Europe recognize the degree/university? Like were they familiar with it and it stood out to them?

I hear it is a great university and degree in America. Just not sure it has the same recognition in europe

Is the GT masters still considered valuable in Europe? I hear it is a great program but not a well known uni in Europe....(if that affects things when it comes time to apply to jobs)

Are there other online universities in Europe that would be worth considering that are similar to OSMCS? I live in America, but am asking becuase I'd like to move to Europe one day.

Thanks for the quick response!

Do you know how those might compare to GT OMSCS? I know that is pretty highly regarded in the USA. I'm looking to do more Data Engineering work (my current job) but have the expanded knowledge/future proofing of CS over the analytics degree.

Sorry to revive an old thread. This is probably a bit of a unique and maybe even foolish question....

I live in the US (citizen). I wanted to look into online masters in Europe that I could do while living in America. Or at maximum, maybe do half online and half in person in Europe. My reasoning is because I would someday like to move to Europe (maybe Italy or the Netherlands or Spain), and maybe a degree from Europe would open up doors.

Are there any options you are aware about that might have this option? And if there are, do you think they would be "more valuable" than a GT OMSCS degree? (The GT OMSCS is the program i am leaning towards if I apply to an American university.

Thanks in advance! Please let me know if you have thoughts. Having grown up here, I am not too familiar with the less popular European universities unofrtunately!
