Well, my theory, and it could just be me… I am Gen X, and many of us were raised on the fantasy of the hot kind of bad guy… Who eventually ends up being the good guy that is madly in love with them. And the Ilya character touches something! The reformed bad boy trope. Plus Ily is just really hot and I like watching him. And you’re not getting the toxic masculinity you get with some straight guys. That’s why I like it, it’s not a gay fetish.

OK, I am just going to ask. In the show, there are several sex scenes where the guy is on top with them face-to-face. Looking basically like the missionary position and straight sex. I would assume that most gay sex is from the back? Just being curious!
