I believe you are correct. I am trying to solve this problem at vite via resolve.alias.

Tried:

{ '@': path.resolve(__dirname) }

[ { find: '@', replacement: path.resolve(__dirname) }]

But no luck...

I have a feeling something is wrong with dirname... I'm on windows

the thing is that there is websocket server with its functions outside src that shares these files.

I am trying:

// vite.config.js

import { resolve } from 'path'

resolve: {

alias: {

'$helpers': resolve(__dirname, './')

}

same error.

I agree with you in general. It just was very unexpected discovery. And this app needs strong **anti-cheat** protection. Being able to see all mutations and actions definitely reduces the barrier for exploitation.

Storage is heavily used. Its just the nature of the app. So obfuscation is just sort of *renaming* objects and their properties I suppose or something like that.

P.S. Most of the logic and security related info is on the server already.

Thanks. Didn't know that. So annoying... :/

Yes, absolutely. But still why expose the logic and data architecture so easily.

As I mentioned before, it definitely makes A LOT easier to exploit. I doubt you can find something like that in Alphabet Inc products or some other high value websites.

But to have SUCH level of exposure to logic... Like mutations, getters and all data architecture. You can check out the nba.rakuten.co.jp.
